Hi! Welcome!

Congrats on giving up soda! I am trying my hardest, but it's my biggest downfall. Major kuddos to you for 12 days!

Congrats on giving up soda, and welcome!

That was one of the more harsh hurdles for me to overcome. The first week or so I had some pretty icky headaches. I tend to use Mio now (dunno if you have tried it, I LOVE it) and other zero calorie drink mixes to get in a fix of flavor. Our tap water just tastes funny to me, so if I try to do just water I end up not getting anywhere near my daily liquids.

Major props for just dropping the sugary stuff though!

Giving up soda is an AMAZING start to your diet! Soda, even Diet Soda, has all types of nasty chemicals in it that mess with your hormones, keeping you from losing weight. Try soda water with lime, it's my fav! Or try stevia in your water if you still need that sweetness! Just make sure your stevia is from a good company, like Sweet Leaf.
