I had an opportunity this morning to go through a drive thru on my way to work to get something off plan since I was running late and could not make my own breakfast, but decided not to. Instead I ordered something on plan!

Today when I was really craving something sweet, I grabbed a banana for a snack instead of the twizzlers boyfriend has stashed in the cupboard.

Because I'm on a low sugar plan (and the only fruit that's welcome are blue/blackberries), I managed to avoid my mom telling me all week that natural sugars are fine. I dodged her watermelon and papaya, both fruits which I REALLY love!

I do eventually plan to incorporate fruit in my diet, but not at this point!

feeling super motivated after an unexpected loss! I had my usually porridge breakfast. Felt the need for a snack before lunch so grabbed a small banana. I'm planing on having a veggie sandwich for lunch and a salad for dinner. Makes planing my day easier!

This was yesterday, but my sister made cupcakes to bring to our weekly family dinner at my grandma's. I told myself I'd allow a bite (well, on a low cal plan I could have had a whole one - they're like 150-ish cals per cupcake my mom claims), so I did! Just a bite. Half an hour after she made them. Which meant not only did I resist eating the whole thing there, but I also resisted eating one at my grandma's!

...it was hard though, because I told my sister that recipe is definitely a keeper.

There is nothing better than getting on the scale and see the numbers going down that helped me resist the chocolate cake my sister made (she was literally running after me in the house trying to make me eat it but I didnt!! )
Ps. Congrats to u all, u r doing a great job! We can do this!!

I work at a school, so lunches often come as a set. Pizza, hashbrowns, 8oz of peach juice. Balanced, right? lol.

My friend offered me his hashbrowns and I ate them, because I freaking love hashbrowns...so I skipped the juice.

I know, not exactly a heroic victory... but it was a mindful choice to have something I wanted more, and to skip something that I wanted less as a result.

I've been really good about bringing lunch to work lately (the other option, of course, is to order the greasiest gooiest thai dish on offer). Last night, I managed to convince myself to prepare the ingredients for my next day's lunch (nicoise salad). I very nearly didn't bother. This morning, I woke up EXTREMELY late, but because I'd prepared, I was able to slap together lunch before I ran out the door. World record getting-ready time. Yes, I had to brush my teeth in the office bathroom, but at least I had a guilt-free, DELICIOUS lunch.

Then, to reward myself, I went to a yoga class. Well, it felt like a reward after the fact . Really washed away a kind of crappy day at work. I'm going to try to remember this feeling

This was yesterday night, but.. The weight watchers friend recipe I prepared did not turn out tasting good. In fact, I couldn't finish it. Boyfriend offered to order out food so I wouldn't have to cook something different, but I declined and went with a points friendly meal instead

Last night I said no to ordering greasy take out with my coworkers and had my healthy meals I made instead. A few days ago I chose not to buy veggie corn dogs, which was a real challenge since that's one of the few meat items I still crave (I've been pescitarian for approx 10 years)

My kid wanted McD's after school today and, for the first time ever, ordered her meal without ordering anything for myself. I'm a sucker for junk food so this is a big deal for me. Of course, we walked right out and she had to eat it at home so I wouldn't be tempted. Munching on some almonds and chugging water to hold me over until dinner.
