I think giving yourself little rewards is a great thing! However, I feel that feeling beautiful whatever your size may be is super important. I can completely relate being uncomfortable in certain social situations. I'm not saying you should be shopping all the time and being super active socially, but I'm encouraging you to understand that beauty, self-confidence and self-respect aren't defined by the numbers on the scale. It's been a hard journey for me to feel that I'm allowed to feel beautiful and to pamper myself. I'm absolutely allowed to feel feminine and I don't want that feeling to rely on a dress size or a number on the scale.
I remember being a US size 16/18 and telling myself that if I ever reach a size 8, I'll be happy with myself. I've reached that size and to be honest, I can't say that I felt more "allowed" to feel beautiful and feminine. I think that the years of negative thoughts and emotions led to bad habits, regardless of the size I have. I also kept saying negative things about myself to some friends which led them to feel like they were allowed to do the same to me.
Truth is, be good to yourself, whatever your weight is. Feel like it's okay to wear whatever you want or get a mani/pedi. I love this quote by Yves Saint-Laurent:
Over the years I have learned that what is important in a dress is the woman who is wearing it.
Take care!
