With this day and age, I don't feel comfortable giving out my phone number but I'm very interested in supporting each other. I'm 28 and have a little more weight to lose than you; however, I feel that we can benefit from each other's support if you are open to emailing each other for moral support (it would be like texting considering you can do this from your phone in today's high-tech world), I'd gladly be interested if not, no hard feelings - just thought to throw it out there.

I've sorta been hoping to find a weight loss buddy to text with for support and discussion on everything weight loss related as well.
Although I do agree with SophiasMom. But there are texting/instant messaging style apps that can be used in that give you the option of a username rather than giving out your phone number.
