Hey ya'll! I've been on the craziest weight loss roller coaster. Basically 2010 reached my highest point - 203 and started eating super healthy and working out and by the end of the year I was in the low 160s. Between 2009 and present, I've fluctuated b/w 150-180 lbs. I just really need to get back on track and do this FOR REAL this time b/c I'm not happy with the way I look and I'm not proud of the way I've been treating my body. So it's time for me to make some major changes that will hopefully last a lifetime.
I want to start posting regularly to stay accountable and so we can share new tips, recipes and encourage each other as well. So I'm doing weekly weigh ins (Mondays) and this past Monday I weighed in at 181.6. Hopefully I see a change next Monday. I started eating better last week, but cheated twice
So far this week has been good, no cheating
I'm trying to follow a reduced carb diet, trying to aim for less than 80g a day, and even less if I can help it. I'm actually not eating any bread, rice, pasta, cereals or sugary carby foods. I'm also trying to keep quinoa consumption down to maybe 2x a month. My staples right now include eggs, beans, vegetables (spinach, onions, bell peppers, cruciferous veggies), almond milk, cheese (can't live without it), whey protein, fish 1-2x week, almonds, very little fruit (berries and apples), natural peanut butter, ground flax seed. LOL SORRY for the long grocery list. I just need to put it down so I can hold myself accountable
