What are ya'll doing to help lose weight? counting calories? exercising? I am eating between 1200-1550 per day and working out every other day and sometimes every day! I am at 182.0 (As of this morning). 2.2 lbs until I see the 170s! It feels like its so far away!
I am doing something similar to you. Eating 1200-1400 calories a day. I work out 6 days a week (I was doing cardio dancing, but I just started a cardio HIIT routine this month) with an active rest day on Saturdays. I am averaging a 1.37 lb loss per week, but it usually saves itself up. Scale won't move for two weeks, then bam scale says 4 lbs down. Then it won't move from that new weight for a couple weeks, then maybe 3 lbs down. My body is weird.
Just weighed in at 189.6! Officially done with the 190s, and ready to kick the 180s ***!
I'm eating… 1600ish? calories per day, running every other day (on week 3 couch to 5k, did this program before and used to be able to run 3-4 times a week up to 7/8k at a time… sigh) and trying to swim at least every other day. I also walk my dog for usually at least 1 hour per day, sometimes up to 2 hours.
Posted more than a year ago on the same thread when I was trying to get out of the 180s...I had managed to come down to 175 overall..a year later and I am back to 187.5!!!! Need to hop back on the horse..here's to being in the 170's and never climbing back.......all the best everyone
Appyfizz this is my third time re-losing the weight… I believe I got up to the 190s once, down to 156, then back up to 170s for a long time, then up to 190s, then down to my low of 141, then now back up to 190s and hopefully I'll stay out of them (I still see them when I weigh at the end of the night, but I'm seeing more 180s so I'm here). I hope we both never see the 180s again after this!
Today I weighed in at 187.6! This is a new low since I regained up to 195ish and started trying to lose. I got to 188 earlier in the summer but not below, so this is nice. I was pretty excited to see that on the scale but my motivation to move today is very low, particularly given low air quality outside due to Western Canada being literally on fire.
Anyone else working in the 180s? I weighed in at 186.8 today (!!!). My main goal right now is to make it so the scale NEVER shows a weight in the 190s… not on fluctuation days, not the night before, etc… I think that's a closer goal than hoping for the 170s (still 7 lbs away), and then once I manage that, I will aim for seeing a 179.8 on the scale!
I'm working off a 50 pound regain so it's crazy that I'm SO excited for a 17- number… but I really am! I'm even really happy about 186.8!
