I want a little black dress. One that shows off my legs and girls which have always been my best features. I want to be able to wear it without a shrug or a wrap because of my flabby arms and shoulders that look like football players. Since losing 50lbs I now have the beginnings of bat wings, too. Ugh.
Oh, and now I see this is a 20 something thread and I'm 40 something. Hope ya don't mind!
My goal outfit is going to be a sexy slim fitting white gown to renew my vows in. I wore a short unflattering dress at my wedding and I hated how I looked and everything about it, we didn't even buy any of the pictures the photographer took because I hated the way I looked. But I told my husband when I get to my goal weight we are going to renew our vows and I'm going to get my wedding pictures!
I would like to wear a backless dress when I reach goal. I've always wanted to wear one. When I was close to goal I wore a lot of dresses. I will try to pick out one to work myself into. I had these true religion jeans that I was trying to fit but a dress is more fun to me.
A Betsey Johnson party dress. Any of them will do.
I've been in love with Betsey Johnson for ages, and I really just want to fit into one of her dresses. Actually, I'd rock one now if they came in my size. They are all so fun and flirty and feminine. Ugh. I can't wait to be able to wear one.
I guess for now, I'll have to stick with her shoes and accessories.
Thought I might drop a message in here as i've been thinking about this lately.
I'm a Guy so my outfit isn't that out there but, i want to be able to go swimming this summer comfortably in board shorts(swimming shorts) and no shirt. Not sure how well that's going to go but we will see.
I'd love to rock some cute denim shorts this summer! I haven't worn shorts in over 15 years!
I also dream of wearing high-waisted pants! I love the sailor look!
But most importantly: SLEEVELESS dresses! Sleeveless ANYTHING! i am VERY embarrassed of my arms. They are gigantic and they make me look much bigger than i am, and just won't get any smaller! I have lost 8in in my waist and ZERO in my arms But some day i figure they've GOT to get smaller. And when they do, I will be a NO SLEEVE ZONE!
I am tired of people mistaking me for a kid. I went to the bank a couple weeks ago to get a loan and the loan officer told me, "You must be over 18 to get a loan." I'm 29 years old!! She told me that she thought I was 16. That's probably why guys don't ask me out either. They probably think I'm underage. The ONE outfit I want to rock when I get to goal weight because it will make me look like a sexy, confident and put-together adult will be similar to these outfits - knee high boots, a fitted coat, leggings/jeans, a nice blouse or sweater, a leather handbag, leather gloves and maybe a scarf.
I'm not into that royal couple hype but I love what Kate is wearing here.
I would love to wear a simple tee or tank top without having to wear a cardigan to constantly hide my tummy! And also, a pair of jeans which I haven't touched in awhile.

I have a Calvin Klein jean skirt, around size 10-12, that I used to look really good in. I carefully put it away when I got too fat to wear it. I want to wear that skirt with a tank top. Hooray!! Just telling you gals about it puts a smile on my face.
I have this gold Miss Sixty dress I got in a size 8 from TJ Maxx for $25 that I would love to wear! It's a bit bigger than my goal size, but I need to lose a lot more back fat to be able to rock it!

I can't believe they thought you were 16!! What were you wearing at the time? One of my friends was IDed to buy a lottery ticket (yup), you have to be 15 to get one, she was 23 at the time. Love the style in those pictures!
