Free hotdogs, chips and soda at work today...but I don't care. I'm sitting here with my meatballs, green beans and sparkling water doing just fine thank you. I'm avoiding sweets and white flour so I won't be indulging in any rolls today. I'm limiting grains period, but burgers need bread so today Im having a very small portion of pasta salad with lunch and a whole wheat sandwich thin with my burger at dinner. Again limiting sweets and grains is good for me. The sweets monkey on my back gets quieter every day.

My X's keep disappearing and every day I have to put in new ones. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Also, yesterday, I stayed on target but gained 0.2 lbs.

Good luck to everyone dealing with the 4th of July today!

epicskyline - Don't close the page right after you're done putting your X in the box. You need to click out of the box first! Maybe that's the problem?

Weight this morning: 140.4 lbs
Food: Stayed in my calorie range though I was craving sugary stuff. Ended up eating one small slice of bread with Nutella and a little bit of granola. But like I said, I didn't go over my calories, phew!
Cardio: 30 min HIIT run
Weight training: Rest day

I'm still sore and unfortunately, no BM for me today! I'm very curious to see what the scale is gonna say in the morning.

Finally got in some strength training I managed to break it up so it wasn't so bad, took about an hour. Here's what I did:

100 crunches
50 bicycle men
25 butterflies
50 sit ups
50 leg ups
50 reverse crunches
65 leg raises
120 sec plank
250 squats

I did the ab and squat challenge last month, and this is basically day 30 with some variations. Since I worked up to it, I figured it might as well be my usual workout once I finished the challenges.

Also will probably do some walking later. Happy 4th everyone!

So I was in work today, I did a split shift. I work in a takeaway, the hardest thing ever is not to pick at the chips! Today was very warm and busy and I was so thirsty. Too me nothing is more nicer than something fizzy when I'm so thirsty but I managed to resist and down a bottle of water in one go!

You have to wait for the spreadsheet to save before you exit! That's the only thing I can think of. I put your X's in for the last 2 days.

And I'm out. Went out for dinner last night which would have been fine as it would have fit into my calorie goal if I made it to the gym, but I didn't as it got too late. I'm sad I couldn't even make it a week. But I'm going to keep at it anyway. Good luck everyone.

I am really rocking this challenge! I am not letting myself make any excuses, yesterday I had a hard time getting myself going in my workout but I did it. This morning was Pure Cardio through Insanity and my my my my butt has been thoroughly kicked!
This morning I had my official weigh in at 249.4, which means I've lost 5.6 lbs this week!!!! I realize it is mostly water weight but I feel very proud of myself! This challenge is really keeping me motivated!

I'm excited that I made it through the holiday! I did go a little over on portion sizes but I had a LONG workout yesterday morning, so I didn't go off plan! Now I have TWO family parties to get through this weekend...and an ice cream social at church Monday night, which I'm helping to set up and won't be able to eat. So I'm hoping I won't have to drop out of this challenge this weekend! I need to make it to the 13th!

Weight this morning: 140.0 lbs
Food: Stayed in my calorie range, had one bite of ice cream and did not enjoy it. I feel like my sweet tooth is going away (or maybe not, hopefully I'm not jinxing anything )
Cardio: 2 x 15min bike ride
Weight training: Day 3 out of 7 completed

TOM got here today and I'm dealing with a light UTI (those 2 always coincide for me, it's horrible )

Day 6 and almost half the people have dropped out! Madness! Almost half way through the challenge, huge congratulations to everyone who's still in the game. How are you all feeling?

I've lost 1.4 lbs so far, I'm always slow to lose weight so I'm really happy with the number.

I'm still on plan, I HAVE to work out tomorrow or I'm out but I will NOT let that happen! Probably going to do an Insanity since it is stupidly hot here for a run. I was going to run yesterday (Friday) but my friend invited me over to her place after work so I decided to be sociable. Was kind of gutted that I couldn't go running, which is saying something!

Eating is good, definitely need to drink more water. But I've not bought any ready made meals and cooked my own dinners. Given that the ready made meals I would succumb to would be in the 700-800 calorie mark I'm happy to make this change.

My co-worker is a hypnotherapist and I'm having a free session with him tomorrow, we're going to work on my laziness in general but specifically with fitness and creativity. Although this challenge is helping it'll be interesting to see what he does!

Yesterday was my one planned off day for the week. My pledge is 6 out of 7 days per week so I have to be on plan today and tomorrow. Not too worried about that. I also have to make sure to do my strength training today and tomorrow or I'm out!
