Scale blipped up a bit today to 170.6. Not bothered by small fluctuations like that too much; however, this weekend might not be so pretty. I'm going to an cultural festival on saturday, but, really, it's an ethnic food festival.
All bets are off when it comes to me vs. the pupusas at the Guatemalan tent. If I can stop at two, that will be a major win.

Eep, fell behind a little bit. Have been suuuuuper busy at work.

Shelflife:
I hear ya woman. I had a duel to the death with a beloved Indian dish last night and lost spectacularly. But at least when you're attending a festival, it is a somewhat special occasion. I'm glad to hear you're sort of prepared for the temptation and are ready to rock!



As for me:
Oh, ****.

Yesterday started really well. I bribed myself with the purchase of a couple of new books, and walked for several hours into the downtown core to the bookstore. I had a yogurt and coffee along the way and when I got home, I ate lentil soup and a dry whole wheat pita for lunch. My UP wristband says I took about 12,000 steps, 2,000 more than my daily goal. Amazing.

Then, as a treat, I decided to order in food since the manz was heading over to a buddy's for the evening anyhow.

Crap. I brought a binge-trigger food into the house, thinking I'd be able to control my portions. I was soooo wrong.

I binged like nobody's business last night, ate a GIANT container of butter chicken and rice and pounded two and a half cans of diet coke until I felt genuinely sick. This morning, my weight was up to 180.4. (ouch!)

Trying not to beat myself up too badly, just going to try to hop back on the wagon and do well today. Wish me luuuck!

Today totally counts as a binge. I'm sitting in Texas Roadhouse looking at the amazing buns, and having fuity drinks with my friend. Treating myself out for pretty much the last night I will eat out for quite a long while. A friend of mine lost over 120 pounds and became a fitness buff, so she's now designing my meal plans and routine for me. It's the last hoorah before I eat boring for awhile. Cheers!

Oh man, my internship just ended and I fell off the eat well and workout wagon for a few days. Can't wait til school starts and I have a schedule again. I'm up in weight a little this week, but today I have decided to kick my butt into gear and exercise this evening no matter what!

How has everyone else been?

Coming back down after a bad week and TOM. 171.2 today. Still not back to where I was at the start of the month, ugh, but getting there. Just have to keep going and not give up.

Started going in the wrong direction on the scale. Hoping this week's weigh in goes much better but I do have a meal plan now and a brand new large brita so that is a plus.

I'm just bouncing around in the same area....haven't 100% been focusing on exercising lately though. 177.2 today and its TOM blech!

New to this section of the forum I just hit 170 this morning. I need to get a better scale for a more accurate measurement. This is the lowest I've been in 2 years and I finally weigh less than my husband! With luck and hard work I will break the 170 barrier soon!

After two days at 170.0, I finally slipped into the lower decade of this thread this morning -- 169.8 today! This is the first time I've seen the 160s in months!
I've got a head full of hair dye today, as I'd told myself I wouldn't do my roots until I saw the 160s. They were getting pretty bad, so I didn't let any time go to waste! haha

Anyway, now to conquer the rest of this thread!

Hi everybody!
I finally break 177lbs which it hanging on for almost a month and going down!
I weight 173.5 lbs now only 4-3.5 lbs away from 160! Really can't wait to be in 160s!

I'm back, its been almost 2 years. But I'm about 168-175.
I was at 156 before but back/hip injuries set me back a bit.
