Question Maybe tmi but what the f is going on my with freaking bowels.

I think I am having issues getting enough fiber. I'll go days and days without going. I have been taking fiber gummies for about a week now. So now it's constipation (or very extremely minimal) for like 3 days and then it's super non-formed almost diarrhea. Super gross.

Has anyone else had this happen since starting their weightloss program?

Well that's not cute! What's your diet like? Are you drinking enough water? Taking fibre without drinking enough water can actually make things worse.

Any idea how much fibre you're getting?

In the last few days I have def not had enough water. And today a lot more fiber today than any other days. I got so tired of not being able to go that I took a couple extra fiber gummies and each gummy has 10% of the daily value needed. Plus 2 bowls of chilli.

Have some green smoothies every day? Fibre straight from the plant source plus all the goodies inside (minerals, vitamins, etc).

It's weird. Since I started mine, not only am I normally regular, but I haven't had to courtesy flush the toilet nearly at all.

Yeaaah, if the chilli had beans in it they'd have a good bit of fibre for sure. I used to get really bad constipation - next time it happens pound some water. I mean like... 1 or 2 glasses back to back, wait 10 minutes, do it again, wait about 20ish and things should...happen. If not, drink more water.

It's not the most ideal way but hey, at least it's just water!

Do you know what kind of fibre is in your gummies? Have you thought about trying something like chia seeds mixed with water? They form this sticky goop that does wonders for your insides.

I am forever constipated, diet or not. If it wasnt for my supplement i might never go. But too much fiber and not enough water is a recipe for well constipation. But if the water doesn't help I use milk of magnesia sometimes, just drink water with it. It's very gental not like a laxative. Also I know I sound like a broken record by now but before bed I have chia seeds, chlorella and spirulina and like clockwork I go at 8 am every morning, and a good quick kinda go and my s*** dont stink!! Talk about tmi. I was at a friend house last weekend and missed my doses 2 days, had to take milk of magnesia Monday and resume my supplement and like magic all better.

I used to have this exact problem but then I started eating two bananas a day and now I 'go' every day. Sweetcorn, peppers and onions are also good. Eat these things every day and you will have no problem, I can almost guarantee it!

I find it hard to go as well though according to myfitnesspal tracker, some days i go over my fibre amount. What works for me, is drinking a glass of pure orange juice!

Try drinking coffee or taking some diuretics if you're still having issues.

Ever since I was a kid I was the every few days type... since I started calorie tracking and making sure to eat more fruits and veggies I have had the other problem. Between coffee, cottage cheese, oatmeal and flax I am good to go.

I want to go like clockwork too!!! Nothing worse than the "surprise, it's poop time!" feeling lol! Sounds like I need a shot of Chia seeds before bed every night! Can I drink them with water BEFORE they turn to goo and still get the all the benefits??

I find it better to let them soak, I notices a difference when I started adding the chia to water at around 2 and drinking a few mins before brushing my teeth. I add a little mint chlorophyll for flavor and I love it now, its like my night time jello snack. And when u drink it that late when its gooey u almost always feel like flossing is a must, so u kill 2 birds with one stone.
