I'm already involved in a whole bunch of threads for this month, BUT I wanted to suggest to you (if you don't get a lot of people joining this thread) look into joining the November chat thread! The people there are very supportive and you really do get daily support.

Good Luck!

2cheezygurl great job on losing so much already! only a bit left for you!

I am doing good today so far. had a lunch out with a friend but stuck to a big salad and a slice of pizza. so as long as I have a light dinner I should be ok.
how is everyone doing today?

Ok I'm going to join in! It's been ages since I've been properly involved in here and seeing a post from a friendly and familiar name (I'm looking at you, sun!) is just the spur I need.

I'd like to lose 3kg (6.6pounds) this month. I could be dreaming, but I've had a pretty good run over the past few weeks with good on plan calorie eating and getting in lots of exercise.

I'm going to try to post at least once a day, in the evening here for me

We can do this!

rainbow! So good to see you again!
I have been slacking and gained all the weight I lost back! MY daughter got really sick a year ago and it lasted on and off for a year. so I just slide back to emotional and comfort eating. But I am back and down 8 lbs. So its a start

went for a half hour walk and it felt good to work my body again. So I am looking forward to my walk tomorrow and trying for 45 minutes. slowly and surely I will get my body back and feel stronger again.
also my sis is getting married at the end of JAn . need to look decent by then.

sun It was nice to see your name pop up. Sorry to hear about your daughter and the weight gain - but you've lost it once and I'm sure you can do it again!

For the last couple of weeks I'd been running 3-4 times each week, but I stupidly fell down some stairs (my fault, I might have had a few too many drinks) and bruised my shin up quite badly, so I'm taking a bit of a break until Wednesday because it's pretty sore even walking!

Sunday night here, I've been mostly on calories all weekend (aside from Friday nights extra alcohol calories, it was a work thing and I needed a bit of a blowout). I've been grocery shopping today and bought a whole lot of healthy stuff - lots of lean meats and a ton of veges, so I'm hoping I'll see another loss this week!

[/B]rainbow[/B] thanks for the encouragement. How far do you run ? Sounds like a great start.

So Tuesday is my weigh in day. Have two days to make that 176 to show up.

Keep going ladies!

sun My route is just under 3km, so 1.86 miles. It's not a huge distance, and I'm still not quite at the point where I can run the whole way but I love that each time I go I run more, I am noticing myself getting fitter and it's awesome!

Good luck for your weigh in day! How often do you weigh?

Feel weak and lame, hehe i used to be such an exercise junkie. I did walk for 2 miles today so that was awesome. keep going !

sun Two miles is better than I'll get today. I was feeling a little sick this morning and while I feel better now, I have a wax straight after work (ick) and by the time I get home I'll have a very hungry boyfriend. But calories will definitely be low so it's all good!
