Following any specific plan: TRYING to keep it under 1600 calories a day but if I can't then I won't fight it. Just trying extremely hard not to binge at this point.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm actually going to the gym and doing weight training. I'm eating a lot cleaner

Anything else you would like to share with us: I figure skate, and I want to wear a dress and FEEL thin and LOOK thin. I'm sick of looking like a fat skater.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Emotional eating, giving up easily and 'punishing' myself by forcing myself to eat...hmm... not good.. And also before I was able to run and went down to 132.. I've since developed a foot problem cuz of flat feet/bunions and am not allowed to do any strenuous activity on my feet so... finding an activity that helps me lose weight and doesn't put stress on my feet is perhaps the biggest hurdle. Yes, I know there's swimming but in a month I'll be moving to India and I'm not keen on going to any public pools there :-/

Following any specific plan: Nope. Calorie counting has helped for the last 35 lbs, and I hope it will carry me through the final 16.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Obsessive eating is definitely my hardest thing to overcome. I can eat well for a while, then when I slip, I go down hard. It is so hard for me to realize that one little slip up won't hurt me.

Anything else you would like to share with us: I started posting on this site just over a year ago and then just kind of lost motivation in a week or so and stopped. I get demotivated really easily, and right now I'm between jobs so I don't know where I'll be in 3 months, so it's difficult to plan something long term, and I'm worried that will affect my drive. What I really need is a weight loss buddy, I think.
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Staying consistent with working out!! And overeating/eating when I am not even hungry. A few years ago I had developed disordered eating habits (binging/purging), but have overcome that for the most part. But sometimes I eat when I don't have to, out of boredom or cravings.
Following any specific plan: Nope, just trying to eat better overall and exercise. Making a lifestyle change.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm working hard to remain disciplined and focused. I'd lose discipline in the past too quickly. But if you want to reach your weight loss goals, you MUST remain consistent with your workouts and dieting no matter what, even if you get discouraged. Keep going no matter what.
Anything else you would like to share with us: By January 1, 2014, I hope I've reached my goal!! But even if I don't exactly reach it and end up only a couple pounds away, I'll still be happy!
