Yeah, sweating is genetic (or at least the number and activity of sweat glands). So, it does not matter how much one weighs, they will sweat the same amount. Nevertheless, look on the bright side...you could come back as a dog in the next life. No sweat glands!

I buy my clothes depending on how snug they are to my armpits soley for the reason that even in cold temperatures, I sweat like crazy. There are SO MANY cute tops I have to pass up for the simple fact on certain days I will end up sweating way more than others, even when just sitting down at the computer or something. Clinical strength Dove and the other drugstore brands dont work for me. However, I did try Dryol (I think thats what its called, or something similar) as a teenager and I remember it working. I just forgot to apply it at night so I ended up giving up. I plan on trying it again tho since now that I am losing weight, I want to be able to wear more form sitting shirts which requires them to be snug to the armpits.

I am officially sick of having to pass up shirts all because of the material being the kind that would become darker when wet!

I think it definitely depends on the person; I know "skinny" people who sweat a TON, and others that don't.....same with the obese people I know. I think it's just "if you're a sweater, you'll always be a sweater, and if you don't sweat much then changing weight won't affect it either."
