You would definitely fit in Gap's clothes. They go up to 16 or 18 and XL in the store, and at 250 I was squeezing into a 20 from them, so you'd be fine I'm sure! Once in a while they have crazy sales, too.

Cato - I love their tops and dresses/skirts! Their plus sized jeans are too baggy in the butt and thighs for me though.
JC Penny - I mainly buy tops from there. I have one pair of trouser jeans that I absolutely love that came from there.
As for jeans, I only shop at Old Navy. I haven't found anywhere else where they would fit me right, so I am curious as to where I could find some more jeans myself.

i want to second and thrid and fourth DEB. They are a more funky style, but when they have sales, THEY HAVE SALES. My sister and I are sizes 22 and 24 and we bought matching prom dresses for "21 and over prom" for $6 each. There were minor flaws but they were still beautiful and all eyes were on us that night. I also shop at Cato. Not sure if you have one of those where you are but again, they have good clearance (can you tell I'm a cheapy??)
