I've read many articles which state 1200 calories is the minimum your body needs. Sometimes going under 1200 is fine, but you should generally make sure your intake adds up... or else your body is going to think you're going into starvation mode and hold on to your fat more, thus slowing down metabolism. Also I heard skipping meals also slows down the metabolism and that it's better to consistently eat a certain amount of meals at regular intervals throughout the day so your metabolism is working all day.

I remember I went through a similar phase as you did once where my appetite was just generally low. I think it's good our bodies are getting used to having a smaller appetite, but we should also make sure that we eat the minimum required calories so that we're not starving ourselves hehe. I hope this helped somewhat! Good luck on your eating and diet!

I know this is going to sound really bad... but I used to skip meals ALL THE TIME.... Last year I was working swing shifts of 12 hrs at a factory and then 3hrs after that at my second job...making it a 15hr day for me... sometimes during the day and i would eat a snack come lunch time and when i worked nights i would sometimes not eat at all almost always never ate breakfast and was probably only pulling 500 cals a day.... I never gained weight I actually lost weight.... NOT RECOMMENDING THIS AND NOT CONDONING THIS AT ALL! but i guess Im just trying to say you can skip a meal here and there if your not hungry its not going to kill you. I even did two months of this behaviour in the summer while pregnant (didnt know I was) and I was fine.... youd be surprised what your body can handle.... so no worries...

It's ok, but in case you begin to get hungry before bed, avoid sugar or breads. Drink two cuts of water and almonds. This works for me
