Default TOM swelling?

Recently I've noticed that about a week before my period I get AWFUL swelling in my hands and feet, even in my face! It hurts! I chug water (and use the bathroom because of it) constantly!!

It's terrible at night. Some nights it makes it hard to sleep.

How can I fix this?

Your body might be retaining water during that time, so chugging more of it probably won't help. I'd ask your MD though.

Hey ValRock!

Just wanted to say hi and that it's nice to see a familiar face around here. I remember you back when I was active about a year and a half ago. You look great!

As for the swelling, I don't have much advice other than to watch your salt intake as that usually makes it worse for me.

hey Valrock!

just wanted to let you know there is a product out there called diurex over the counter, you can find it at any drugstore in the section that has midol/pamprin and all that stuff. anyway, it's a diuretic meaning it gets rid of the swelling and water retention and you urinate it all out. i work in a pharmacy and i have some patients that have the same problem as you around their period. i've heard it works! good luck!

I have seen that, but avoided it for some reason. I'm already peeing every half hour. Can it make it worse?

Thanks!
