194.2 this morning, hoping to see 193 in the next few days

swoody29, I'm doing Atkins right now. I really like it because when I was stuck at 160 it brought me down to 146 within a month and it was easy to keep it off until we ran into financial trouble and had to live off of Mr. Noodle and cheap crap for a few months (and then I got pregnant which is where the rest of the weight comes in)

Yesterday I had scrambled eggs with salsa and cheese for breakfast, lunch was tuna and mayo inside a green pepper with cheese on top, dinner was a cold cut up chicken breast with cucumber and tomato cut up on the side. I don't feel hungry on it and I feel really good with the way I am eating. I'm 2 and a half lbs down in 3 days because most people usually get a nice whoosh in the beginning.

Is there anything to stay away from? Like I eat brown rice and chicken for dinner quite often. And normally a yogurt or oatmeal for breakfast.

http://www.atkins.com/Program/Phase-...his-Phase.aspx

Here's a link to the foods you can eat in the first phase, in each phase you slowly add more foods back and increase the amount of carbs you eat. The first phase is two weeks long unless you have a significant amount to lose. I'm going to do it for a month before moving onto phase 2.

Chicken and rice for dinner is basically just protein and carbs. You could switch it up by doing chicken and a veggie. For breakfast I usually eat eggs and add veggies into it. There's no sugar allowed either, which I like because I don't have blood sugar spikes and dips while on Atkins so I never feel hungry. If you are creative, you will be happy with the foods you eat, it can get stale if you don't mix it up enough.

If you do try Atkins (you can do the diet by reading about it on the website, or there is a Atkins Forum that has all the information already on it as well) my tip is to stay away from the Atkins bars. Seems like a lot of people stall on them (I know I did)

I never did it until I was near the end of my weight loss, I dropped 14 lbs in a month. Now that I'm restarting over again, I'm starting with Atkins because of how easy it was and the success I had with it.

Swoody- sorry I can't help with the low carb, I just calorie count. How do you like p90x?I did it last year and while I didn't lose much weight my body shape completely changed. Just completely toned up. Then I fell of the wagon. Good luck reaching your goal.

I feel so gross and bloated today. Allowed myself a free day for the super owl for the first time since re starting last month and feel like poo! That'll teach me! Lol... Hoping for 2 lbs this week for my bday on Sunday!

beachlover, happy birthday in advance!

193.8 today, still hoping to be in the 180's by VDay, but I'm cutting it kinda close. Though I am losing quickly because I've just restarted Atkins again..

Hope everybody else is doing well!

Thanks stephanie!

Welcom Vixxi! You're so darn close. I'm sure you'll be there anyday now!!!

I'm not able to get on as often as I would like, plus I seem to get sucked in. So usually hop on during my lunch break. Just so busy over the next couple weeks! trying to plan, plan, plan. and fit in my exercise where I can.

196.2 today! Going back in the right direction! I still feel really bloated. I wear my grandmothers wedding band everyday on my right hand and it is a little too tight . I made it through the first couple of days before without eating the place I work out of business!

ihavethemusicinme, I still don't fit into my wedding ring set I had it sized down when I lost weight before getting married, had to stop wearing it in my third trimester and it still doesn't fit.

Default evil 190's

Hello!
I agree that the 190's are tough! I just restarted my focus and am in need of some cheerleading out of the 190's. Now I have to start exercising and cut out my cravings of the desserts! Best wishes to all that are stuck in the zone. We will make it out~
