i must say i'm a big fan of weightlifting, too! especially after some cardio workouts. i feel like a machine lately i've been focusing on my abs during strenght trainings and i must say i enjoy it a lot. a few months ago i was focusing on my legs, but due to my jogging i've decided my legs are getting toned enough by running.

I love weightlifting! I always do some upper body work after I've finished a spin class, which is wonderful but all lower body. It seems to really be paying off, too--one inch from my waist and two from my hips in February! WOOOO

Hi folks.

I'm still here, and still alive... but I'm certainly not on track with my exercising. After the flu, I quickly developed a nasty cast of bronchitis. I'm still pretty short on breath. I'm going to try to build back into working out slowly, but I need to get moving again. Still, have to take it easy... breath is still so short sometimes that I need an inhaler.

I'm glad to see how nicely February went for everyone. I did end up dropping 4 pounds during the month, and have dropped another over the last couple of days. At my weight, it's really slower than I'd like, but I am not putting all of my energy into it. Hoping for a better March and April!

Hi Guys,
i have had a busy few weeks also.. been pretty good with getting my exercising in, but the food aspect of things is dragging me because that's not budging, although i look smaller.. went to the gym today and the instructor took my measurements and i was down in most places, so now i gotta kink the snacking..

Dottington well done on meeting your fitness goal
i signed up for my 1st adventure challenge on Sunday,,
its on in May and covers 31km including 17km Cycling both off and on Road / 1 km Hill run / 2km Kayak and 11km jog/ Run
its on in May so thats spurring me on to improve my fitness or i miay die on the course or curl up on the side of a road crying begging for a bed haha

i'm finding i can eat more cos of the exercise so i need to just balance that..

I was doing 2 km at least 5 days a week of walking and i had a hip hop abs workout regiment for 6 days a week this month I added another workout regiment on top of what im already doing and it is crazy intense... its called the Brazilian Butt Lift but trust me its hard.... its harder then the hip hop abs I sweat up a storm when i first started still do but I thot i was going to die the first day so ya......

now its 2-4km walking everyday or when I can (rain :/) 30 minutes of Hip Hop Abs everyday (6 days/week) and anywhere from 35-70 minutes of more workout cardio/toning/sculpting everyday (6 days/week)

Okay, I totally fell off the wagon for about two weeks. No exercise, crappy food, gained about 3-4 pounds. Yuck. Isn't it funny (ha ha...) how two weeks of being off-plan will erase a solid month of hard work? Anyway, I'm back on now! Had a good run yesterday, and a short run the day before that. Rest day today (but I'll take a walk!), then another run tomorrow. Feels GREAT to be back on track.
