Default Trying to start this...again

I have tried to start losing weight quite a few times now. I have gotten good with my exercise, however it is the diet part that I am struggling with. I have a hard time sticking with healthy eating. I don't really overeat, but I like to snack, and snack on the wrong things. I need some help with motivation, and accountability!!
I plan on starting P90X tomorrow, so hopefully that ontop of running will kick me into shape and motivate me even more to eat healthier. I also actually plan on being involved here, I hope that helps.

Oh trust me, your eating is much more important than your exercise--not that exercise isn't important either! I would have been at this weight years ago had I paid attention to what I ate and not just relied on exercise

Have you chosen an eating plan? If so, make sure to visit that part of the forum as there are accountability threads in each one Does P90X have a food plan to go with it? It has you eating protein, right?

There are also apps and websites to help you track your food intake. Just the act of actually tracking it can be enough to limit what you eat.

Personally I never wrote anything down, but I do keep track of my calories in my head. Just doing that really forces me to think about what I'm eating.

Thanks I just got a food tracker for my phone, so hopefully I'll be able to keep up with that. I am not doing any specific diet plan, more just clean eating and watching calories. I've been eating plenty of protein. I think I haven't started to lose any weight yet because I am gaining muscle.

Armygirl:
Want some accountability? PM me your email address-- I'll give you accountability. (In a loving--- not a horribly sadistic way... )

I lost 30 lbs and am now restarting since I impressively gained it back a couple of years later-- after a couple of false starts, so I feel your pain.

Seriously. Email address. You'll hate me in no time.
