  • I'm in. If nothing else, this will help me keep aware of my weight. Too often I get to a small goal and then forget about it.
  • Been away for too long. Need to get back on track. I'm in!!
  • Count me in! I'm new here and I'm looking forward to losing weight with you all. Best of luck to everyone! I'm hoping to lose 25-30 lbs over the course of the year, so here goes!
  • I like that this is more focused on keeping track than meeting a specific goal. It saves me a little embarrassment, lol.
  • New year, new goals ^_^

    Sooooo in on this

    Good luck guys xx

I will not be able to weigh-in tomorrow, so i'm going to go ahead and post my baseline. It is the same weight as it was for the last 6 week challenge. I had lofty goals for the next couple of months and I hope to still be able to fulfill them. Tonight I received the news that my grandmother is not doing well. She lost her last sister Friday and got a virus that has been going around my family. Apparently, there has been something wrong with her but no one knew. Whatever is wrong has been accelerated with the virus and the death of her sister. Her body is destroying itself. Please, lots of prayers if you can spare them. All of her sisters died at the age of 84 and she is 82 so she should have a few more years left. I would hope a lot more, but I'll take what I can get. My brother and I will be flying up tomorrow morning.

To be honest, my January plan of starting my weight lifting plan is far from my mind right now. My thoughts are on my family. We lost my grandfather in April 2010 (they were divorced) and it is too soon to lose my grandmother.
  • Just got back from the gym.

    QUESTION FOR YOU LADIES

is it better to meet your calorie limit to the T or to eat a little less? My calories budget is 1,400 calories, and i get really close to it. Then i work out and i gain about 400 calories back, should i eat them or should i leave it at 400 away from my limit? idk if that makes much sense...

i've read of people losing when they "eat back" calories burned and people still losing when they don't eat them back.

i personally do not eat them back.

Woo! I'm pumped! Let's do this

Last night was a great night at the gym. I've been struggling on Cough 2 5K week 3 for two months due to respiratory issues (I get sick an absurd amount of times during the winter) and last night I was able to finish it and not want to die. Assuming my feet can keep up in my Vibrams perhaps it's FINALLY on to week 4 next week!

I don't eat them back. Once I'm in maintenance then I will, but for now I need all the deficit I can get!

Plus I did weights in the morning. All things considered I feel great! I'm going back to the gym this morning in about 15min!
