I agree you are eating to little. I am your height and I eat between 1400-1600. I run 3-4x a week, burning between 300-400 calories each run. My weight is on a decent decline.
Some days I do find myself less hungry and have to force myself to eat even 1200. On days like that I go for nuts (or peanut butter and an apple), dense in calories and good nutrition.
As to how I eat them; I spread them out throughout the day. I eat 2 meals, and 3 or so snacks. Breakfast is a banana. I have a cup of coffee that I have sugar and creamer in that I sip on all day; yes I like it cold. Lunch varies a lot, as does dinner. I eat most of my daily calories with my evening meal. I used to wake up absolutely starving, lately I just haven't been hungry for the first few hours of my day.
