I realized I hadn't actually commented in here, but I have added my name to the spreadsheet. I'm happy about doing an accountability weekly weigh in... I was doing the daily weigh-ins, but... I think that it's not my cup of tea.

Let's get to our goals, Gals! Or at least make some nice progress!

Yay!! I'm so excited! Last christmas someone called me jolly and it really pissed me off because it was kind of in relation to jolly round santa claus! I can't wait to show up to the Christmas parties as a smaller me with whatever amount that I lose. Being at my goal weight or near it would be the best present ever.

Aggie- I agree! I can't wait. I think this is just the right thing at just the right time to help me get back on track, as well as others!

Does anyone have a strategy for the holidays? Thanksgiving usually isn't a huge problem for me but Christmas is. The candies and sweets get me...even though I'm not much of a sweets person! Something about the season wins me over. Last year, I stalled right in the middle of Thanksgiving and XMAS.

This is probably awful but.. I'm just going to "not worry too much" for 3 days at Christmas. I'll be with family for those 3 days and overall I'll try to make "better" choices and sample the desserts rather than stacking them up, but I just have to accept that I'll have an extra pound or two to lose at the end of it.

We pretty much eat Mexican or go to a "buffet-style" restaurant every day. The buffet-style I can get a lovely salad and some grilled meats. I might go for the fajitas at the Mexican place, but pretty sure everything on the menu would be over my calorie count anyway.

I think it'll work since I see my family twice a year for a few days.. otherwise it would be much harder.

Does everyone usually gain weight at their ToM? It's my first day and I just hit my minigoal.. I'm now confused (and crampy).

Depends the girl, but I do believe most women do gain weight. But it is possible to lose weight when on your period. So I'd take it and run run run with it!!

I didnt even think of it until now, but theres family that i havent seen since my heaviest weight (most recent heaviest - 175ish) and theres a really good chance i wont see them until the holidays come and if i'm at my goal weight with this challenge that means they'll see me 45lbs lighter than they remember!! WOAH! Now i really cant wait!

That is really exciting vDub!! I am looking forward to the holidays for the same reason.
