I so want in on this thread! I'm at 137.4 and want OUT of the 130's by July. Memorial weekend was pretty much awful in terms of food, as has the past month been, so it's time to jump back on track. I need accountability!

Good morning, ladies! How'd everyone do yesterday? I am still at 137.4 this morning, which is no surprise because I ate awfully yesterday, so here's hoping a little extra water today and staying on plan will flush a bit of that out.

Edit: Whoosh! I guess it's the extra water I'm drinking but I've lost almost 2 pounds of water weight over the course of the day. Even though it's just water, it's nice to see SOME movement on the scale.

Bumping us back up to the first page... I woke up this morning weighing 133.6! I love how our bodies respond to rehydrating! Here's hoping that as I keep drinking water, it'll stay off.

i spent the whole weekend camping with my boyfriends family.. not really watching what i ate. it consisted of hot dogs, hamburgers, marshmallows and cupcakes. to my suprise i came home monday and still weighed 135. i didnt drink nearly enough water though. the TOM came this morning. so hopefully i will get back on track this week and see some weight loss! i find it harder to lose weight as in get into the lower numbers..

Tiffany - that's pretty awesome. I do love when I go off track and still weigh the same on occasion. Good luck getting back on track!

And I agree... Losing weight gets REALLY hard when you get down into the lower 100's, it seems, I guess because our bodies don't need as much energy to even maintain our weight as they did before. I seem to plateau about 130 and I hate it because I know that's not my ideal weight.

I guess I can say this in this thread, but I feel like I offend people who have a greater amount to lose when I get frustrated at my current weight range... like I should just be grateful for where I am. Does anyone else worry about that? Is that just me personally feeling guilty for my weight loss or is there a valid point to it?

Yay! After literally a year in the 150's and 140's, I am officially 139.6. I cannot remember the last time I weighed so little. It was certainly before HS. I now weigh 16 lbs. less than when I graduated from HS, 40 lbs less than when I graduated from college.

I just stopped posting in the 150s and 140s thread because I moved so slowly it seemed silly to post each day or even each week. However, I have upped my calories and have lost 5 lbs in the last month, so hopefully I can make quick work of the 130s!

girlinwaterglobe - Congrats on getting to the 130's and welcome!

Tiffany - I do agree on that point, and I try to remember that. I just don't want to discourage or annoy others.

My diet plan isn't really a specific plan, but excuse the long-windedness... haha. As suggested by a nutritionist at my university, I just try to stay between 1000 and 1200, as well as getting at least 30-60 minutes of exercise a day. She also gave me a healthy eating plan with a specified number of servings of each type of food per day (6 oz. of grains and starchy veggies, 1-2 cups of fruit or juice, 6 oz. of protein, and as many non-starchy veggies as I want). That seems to be working.

I also just started drinking at least 96 oz of water every day, which I think is causing the massive losses of water weight. I lost another 1.2 lbs last night, which puts me at 132.4 today.

I do too to some degree. I guess it's entirely possible I've inadvertently offended someone, but at the same time we're all here trying to reach our own goals and have every right to that. And once anyone gets to a lower range, I think we'd all like to shoot for our ideal weight, whatever that is.

I made it into the high 130s a few days ago. Aiming for 134 this month. I'm just really excited to be here. lol
