Default Could I get your opinions on having a weight loss blog?

I see that some of you have weight loss blogs, and I was just curious as to how that works for you? Does it motivate you at all just to write down all of your thoughts? Any other insights are appreciated, thanks!

I can't say my own blog is very inspirational to me but having my blog open has introduced me to others I enjoy reading and they are wonderful to follow in progress! I like to think that at the end of the line, I'll be able to go back through my rambling and see where my head was at along the way. That bit will be inspirational.

I just started mine 3 days ago and I use it as a place to get feelings out that don't fit in any forums! Just ramblings about my day, thoughts of that sort!

I use to keep a blog religiously for 3 years, I look back and read it now and I laugh at the small things that inwoukdnt have remembered otherwise. Great way to remember progress, how you felt after a workout, ect ect.

Try one out! If you don't like it...just request for it to be deleted!

I agree with the above poster. Try one out, don't like it? Delete it!

I use mine for family and friends to read and it has grown into a life of its own! It holds me accountable and they do too! Even old HS friends from FB have been inspired by it. It is also helpful to look back at day one, or day 30 or even day 90 to see how diferent my mindset was. it's a GREAT tool for me!

I love blogging, it kills time for me at work haha. My blog though is an everything blog not just weightloss. Come to think of it I hardly write about my weight loss because I don't do anything special with it. I'd say go for it, nothing bad can come from it, as well if you don't like it you can always delete it.

My blog keeps me accountable and reading/commenting on other people's blogs keeps me connected with others who understand what I'm going through

It's a great way to reflect on where I was a few months ago.

It may not be for everyone but I have found it a great place to sort out my thoughts and feelings.
