Family, my mom cooks every single day and the cookie is amazing but very carb heavy. We come from Bosnia during war torn times and we are accustomed to one meal days so our diners are at 4 and consist of a lot of carb heavy foods. She's doing what she can to help me out though

Children/Ages: an almost 1 year old puppy and three year old twin step-puppies, 13 fish. 7 glofish, 6 goldfish.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: self-sabotage, I tend to get freaked out when people start noticing the weightloss and go back to my old habits. My goal is to just keep chugging away and to try and ignore the comments that cause me to freakout.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I have a completely different mindset, its very much longterm. If for any reason, I don't like something I won't eat it.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I have a LapBand. :P I plan to use it to my weightloss advantages (and hopefully not get detered when I puke frequently)

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Overeating. I enjoy food, and I grew up in the rural south and we love heavy,carby food! One thing that is helping me now is I discovered I am gluten intolerant, so I've solve some digestive/bloating issues and cut out some of the carbs!!

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I have my boyfriend on board, and I've doscovered I enjoy cardio--I used to have a had time making myself do it in the past.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: STICKING WITH IT! keeping myself motivated so I don't give up, also pushing myself through difficult workouts
Following any specific plan:No specific diet plan, I am just sticking to around 1500 calories a day, low carbs. I want this to be a lifestyle change, not a fad diet that goes down the drain quickly
As for working out, I have started turbofire - but may begin insanity with my brother shortly.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I am doing this with my family. My mom and brother are also trying to get healthier and work out so that will help me stay focused and motivated.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: I love to sit on the couch and binge eat. I also have recently realized how much I love sweets. I never considered myself much of a sweet tooth, but over the holidays, rarely a trip to the grocery store would pass without my stopping by the bakery and picking up a cupcake or slice of cheesecake. Also- I have a history of getting off track and having a very hard time picking it back up.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I don't want to waste my life anymore. I can't wear the clothes I want, and I feel uncomfortable around new people. I want the world to see the person that I know is there.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: This time I have made EVERYONE aware of what I am doing.. this way I have the support of my co workers.. and also have joined 3FC.. i have way more accountability than I did in previous attempts. Also I have a little one now that I want to be able to keep up with!
