Goal Weight: i just want to get to 125 and go a little bit lower from there
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: as a student, i'm surrounded by junk food and alcohol :/ also, when you're sitting at your desk and studying/writing a paper, stress & boredom eating just ends up happening all the time.
Following any specific plan: counting calories (1100 a day). i also just ordered a couple of work out dvds, so i'll try to work out 2-4 times a week.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: i always wanted to see an immediate change, like 20 pounds in a month or something. so that obviously is unhealthy & i would become discouraged & binge eat and stop weighing myself. this time, i am taking it slow. i am motivated because i know that i will be much, much happier. because i know i am capable and willing. just like the rest of you.
Anything else you would like to share with us: i would love any friends/support. all of my friends have quick metabolisms & eat all they want, so i'm discouraged when i hang out with them.
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Chocolate, overeating, eating when hungry, eating just because I WANT CHOCOLATE!!!
Following any specific plan: Planning to up exercise more and make better food choices. Deprivation always leads me to failure.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I will be 30 in less than 3 months. I want to look and feel good in my 30's, since I spent my teens and 20's feeling crap about myself.
Anything else you would like to share with us: Used to smoke 20 cigs a day. Stayed off them for 2 1/2 years but started smoking again a few months ago. Want to stop again. On day 2 ...

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the
past: I am getting married Next September. *Friends around me have lost
weight and say how easy it is and tell me I'm just not ready...I am more
than ready!! *I want to prove all of them wrong and to show that I can
do it without the help of weightloss products as they have used and try
to push on me.

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I was on diets as a young child, because I have been overweight since I was very young. In 2009, I started college and naturally started losing weight without trying too hard. I started swimming and lost 35 pounds. This year in April, something clicked inside of me and I just jumped into getting healthy. I was 280 in April when I signed up for the gym for the very first time. And then I lost a little weight, but wasn't eating like I knew I should be. So on July 27, at 257 I joined Quick Weight Loss Program. As of today, I'm 206.5.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I'm very excited about being so close to onederland. Last time I was under 200 pounds was when I was 12 years old. I remember having to get a physical to start a new school and finish sixth grade. I weighed 189 pounds at 12.

Starting Date of Weightloss Journey: There is no real start date. I've kind of been making a half-assed effort the entirety of of 2011.
Starting Weight: Start weight for this particular attempt was 207.

Goal Weight: I could die happy at 120 but realistically anything up to 140 is acceptable.
Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Emotional eating, whether it's happy feelings and celebration or having a bad day.
Following any specific plan: Slow Carb
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: Well, this is the most weight loss effort I've ever put into one year. Something about consistently trying to lose weight even after I fail makes it feel like I'm close to having weight loss click in my head, even if I fail this time. It just feels like it's close to "holy crap, it's really working this time"
Anything else you would like to share with us: My boyfriend use to weigh 410 pounds until he got the lap band and now I think he's 250 (He's a 6'4). He wants to lose 50 more pounds (I think he's nuts and will be emaciated at 200 but we'll see). After he loses the last of his weight he wants to start plastic surgeon shopping. So we're doing this particular diet together =)
