JLNichols07 Thanks! Dont be jealous because the funny this is that bc Im naturally so curvy the more weight I lose the more crap I get from my bf, family and friends about losing my curves. Its just part of the territory I guess.... You made amazing progress! Don't sweat it.

i had to show this dress - its a large, it wasnt done completely up at the back so it looks a little big up top...ive been thinking about it since i tried it on.. i freaking want it!

Since I'm back and trying to be a bit more active on here again (if anyone around here remembers me) I thought I'd post the most recent picture I have that shows my progress to date. After seeing this pic, I felt pretty good. It was the first time I've seen a picture of myself and thought I looked "normal" sized. This is me in probably May? at 132 ish pounds? 60kg.

Calorie counting and exercising 4-5 times per week.

I bought this skirt to wear out that night and then chickened out and put on tights instead. I felt great in the fitting room tryin it on. But I started feeling self conscious about my legs just before I was about to leave. Maybe after another 10lbs Ill have the confidence. After uve been hiding a particular body part for so long bc uve told yourself it doesnt look good its so hard to re-program your thinking after it has made a little improvement. You still see what you always did.


I also think you look GREAT in the first pic, but I also know that we are our worst critics I always have people telling me i dont need to lose. Congrats on your progress keep up the good work!

Hi Girls! I havent updated in awhile. Been maintaining at 145-148 since March. Re-started my mission to lose 10 pounds yesterday (I hate armpit fat!)

I went shopping this weekend and decided to look for a dress for a wedding the DH and I are attending this coming Saturday. I ended up buying 2...oops!





A "before" just for fun




Its really funny that I think I look better in pictures now than in real life. I spent my whole life avoiding pictures because I always thought they made me look bigger than I actually was and now I think I look smaller in pics than RL. I still feel like the pudgy girl and then I'll see a pic or catch my reflection in a glass door and think (surprised) "wow, i've got a pretty nice body." Our minds play terrible tricks on us!

Thanks girls!

Skinny - The white dress has some black, its mostly a deep purply-gray color. Very pretty. I dont run, i'm not a big fan of cardio. I do P90X - lots of strength training.
