It was fun reading your guys' lists.
I'm 27, so 3 more years. Happily I've done a bunch of the stuff I've wanted to do.
1. Graduate and get a career job--done!
2. Now get a masters and figure out the direction I want my career to go.
3. Already married.
4. Buy a house
5. Talk about having kids...still not quite ready, don't know how I'll feel in 3 years.
6. Move again! (4 states so far)
7. Leave the country for vacation (besides Canada, Mexico and a cruise--done all those already)
8. I've ran everything from a 5k to a marathon, next up--triathlon!
9. Continue to stay active-run, bike, swim, hike--all of it!
10. Visit friends more, call and write them more too!
Fun to read everyone's. I have 15 months until I turn 30. Funny to think of it that way.
1. Get to a healthy weight and maintain it for at least 6 months before getting pregnant again.
2. Go on an awesome vacation with hubby.
3. Have a paper published in a peer-reviewed journal.
4. Run a 5k.
5. Complete all coursework toward my PhD.
6. Improve my cooking skills and take at least one cooking class.
7. Learn how to keep my house clean. (With a toddler, this one is definitely a work in progress.)
I'm 28, turn 29 in August but I've always had a bucket list - here's my top 10
1.) lose a significant amount of weight (I think I pretty much qualify for this one right now)
2.) hit my goal weight of 160
3.) $10,000 in savings
4.) Go to Alaska or Canada to see polar bears (have a cruise partially booked for 2012)
5.) Go to Comic-Con (going in July!)
6.) Visit NYC (might be going w/ a friend this September)
7.) Go on a real date (I met my ex husband as a friend & we immediately went from friends to living together when I was 20 then married at 22 and divorced at 28 - I've never actually dated-dated anyone)
8.) Stop biting my nails
9.) go to school for criminal justice or go to police academy
10.) buy a new (to me) car - I have my ex's 2002 Escort and can't wait to get rid of it
I'll be 25 in May, so I have a little over 5 years to:
1) Finish grad school (2012)
2) Live/work abroad (or at the very least, travel extensively)
3) Get my Greek citizenship
4) Brush up on my French and Greek, and learn Spanish
5) Publish something (whether it is a novel or a scholarly article)
6) Complete a triathlon
7) Go sky diving
8) Get better at playing the guitar/learn how to play piano
9) Be a 3rd dan black belt in taekwondo (getting ready to test for 2nd in a few months)
10) Change the world
These first few goals are really goals for before 25.
1. Get my Master's degree. I graduated over a year ago with my B.A and hope to start on my M.S in Early Childhood Education this summer.
2. Get a tattoo, probably more once I get that first one done.
3. Get my belly button pierced (now that I lost weight I want this)
4. Get my motorcycle license.
5. Other than our cruise this spring, travel outside of the U.S.
6. Do a half marathon
And before 30
1. Have visited at least 10 more states, mostly on the west coast.
2. If my husband decides to get out of the military, buy a house.
3. Have two children.
4. Maintain my weight loss and still have a banging body. haha
1) Get on the oil rigs and work there for a year to
a) Pay off my debt
b) save up for university
2) Be back in university for Psychology (4 year program so def won't be done it before I'm 30 but at least I'll be finished before 35)
3) Go back packing around europe (I'm going to say have this done before 35 since well times is running out haha)
4) Put a down payment on a condo
5) Live in British Columbia
I don't have 10 things I want to do by the time I'm 30.
1. Get a full time job as an RN (been trying for a long time now)
2. Lose this weight/ fit back in to my pre-pregnancy pants
3. Have another child
4. Get married (Will happen directly after #5)
5. Convert to Judaism (Hopefully this year!)
6. Buy a house
7. Learn to read and speak Hebrew (Im doing this now)
8. Learn spanish
9. Figure out, find, and conquer something I can be passionate about outside of motherhood/ famliy life.
10. Get a kitty cat (house first)
i will be 25 this year... these are NOT in a specific order.
1. celebrate mine and my SO's 12 year anniversary (when im 30)
2. get married (more the name change, not the paper)
3. we want to have most of our kids (we probably will have 3) We dont want to really have kids after i'm 32.
4. Travel - cuba, mexico, east coast, San Diego zoo, Space station
5. get a house (already have 2 dogs - german shepherd and an akita. No cats)
I'm ALMOST 30 - we're talking mere months - but that doesn't mean I'm giving up on my to-do-before-30 goals just yet!! however, i'm going to go back to the time i last had this convo with myself (must have been 22 or something when 30 was so far away) .. mostly to see what kind of progress (or lack thereof!) i've made!
1. finish university, grad school, and get professional designation - DONE!
2. get married - DONE
3. travel to every continent except the arctic - only Australia left to go on this one... this one could be touch and go!
4. live outside of north america for a year - DONE (Spent a year in Europe)
5. buy a house, hopefully one that will accomodate future husband & kids - DONE (no kids just yet, but no intention on moving when they arrive)
6. learn to run. be that girl who gets up at 6am in paris to run up the champs elysees - DONE! (aside: it was $*@#! amazing).
7. be consistent with fitness. in my late teens, i didnt exercise at all. early 20s, exercised 5x a week, then dropped off to no exercise at all again. I want exercise to be part of my lifestyle forever in a sustainable way. - IN PROCESS. the past 3-4 months have been really good for me though, but I think I might have to move this into the "lifetime" category.
8. get my weight to maintenance level - still struggling through this one - have spent almost all of my 20s on this (save 3 years or so) - but this WILL BE DONE!
9. be healthy - i know a portion of this is out of my control, but i'm going to take whatever steps i can. my fam has a history of blood pressure issues, high cholesterol, diabetes. there was also a time, about a year ago, that my BP was 150/100 on a daily basis. I am proud to say that it is now consistently 120/80
i'm going to use #10 to write what i did NOT want to do before i was 30 - these are goals too, right?
10. gain back the painful 25 lbs I lost when i was 20. at that time, i wanted to lose another 10. instead, after getting married, i put on another 20. now I wish i was back to where i was.. i realize that the final 10 was unnecessary and I should have been happy. those 10 were so unrealistic that i just gave up and spiralled the wrong way.

I'll be 21 in June, so I've got a little while before I hit 30, haha. Let's see, what do I wanna do before June 2020?
1) Graduate college on time with decent grades (right now my GPA sucks, and I'm working on getting it up!).
2) Be happy with my weight/body, of course. This is something I've been wanting since I was 10. I have an ultimate goal number of 145, but even if I'm happy at 160, I'll take it.
3) Meet a great guy and hopefully get married.
4) Buy a house.
5) Visit another country (preferably in Europe).
6) Settle into a sustainable career that makes me happy, or grad school for elementary education.
7) Drive down the east coast and/or across the U.S.
8) Be fluent in French (this is actually a life goal)
Oh boy!
This is fun hoping that all this stuff will actually happen... Things never seem to turn out the way I plan them, but its good to have goals
SO, I have 4.5 years left til I'm 30! (WOW ) Heres my list (in no particular order)
1. Go to Europe (leaving in 2 weeks & 4 days!!) & have FUN- dont be all overly organized/anal, go with the flow!

3. Get married
4. Possibly start having kids by then, possibly wait until 30 or after...
5. Pay off all student loans and be DEBT FREE
6. Graduate & pass the NCLEX (in May- as long as I pass )
7. Get a full time job in a hospital as an RN, and maintain my job at a rehab facility as an RN to pay off debt quicker!
8. Become more involved with my church/serving OUTSIDE of the church.
9. SHOW love, joy, peace on a daily basis.
10. Go to New Zealand and Greece (aiming for one big trip every two years, to maintain my getting out of debt & give me time to save!)

That's creepy. Didn't you say your name was Natalie in another thread, and your life was all super similar to mine? I'm turning 21 in June too. I'd like to be 160, but the ultimate number is my head is 145 too. This is weird.
