Linds I feel like I'm stuck now like you've been stuck for a while. I actually thought of you when the stuckness started and your stuckness. URGH.
So I'm still 138.8/63kg. I'm going to give it another week or two...and then see about lowering calories...I know I should increase exercise too, but I'm not sure what I can actually achieve. I never wanted this to be anything unachievable/something I couldn't keep up with, and I'm still of that mindset...
137.4 today... since it's the second time I've seen it, I went ahead and changed my ticker. I'll likely be bouncing around some more tomorrow, but I'll enjoy it for today.
tabtl, i'm sure you will join us soon. I'm super excited to be reading your updates.
pavvie, congrats on your new low number!
I'm down to 137.6, but it might be dehydration so i don't think i'll change my ticker yet. My weight has been fluctuating from 145-135 since december, so this is definitely the longest i've been stuck in a rut.
141.3 right now.. When I make it into this thread "officially" :P (hopefully by the end of the month) I will be throwing a huge mental party for myself. The last time I was in the 130s was probably in high school when I of course thought I was a fat cow. Ahhh, us women have such skewed perceptions of ourselves sometimes.
Can't wait to see more people in here! Rainbow Hopefully we can keep up with each other on the same pace! lol. Either way maybe the 130's wont last long for us. Tabit I hope to see you soon!!
139.4 this morning so I'm guessing I am officially here! No turning back now.
JLNichols07, congrats! I'm stoked to see your progress.
tabitl, your progress has been amazing, congratulations to you as well!
rainbowstripe, sorry to hear you've been having problems with a plateau. I was stuck at the same weight for about 4 months, but I don't think I can really blame my inability to lose weight on the plateau effect, but more like on taking a half-assed break. Have you experimented with your macro-nutrients? I always find if i lower my carbs slightly and up my protein my weight goes down. Dramatically zig-zagging calories I hear has helped a lot of people with breaking their plateaus as well.
I'm happy to report I reached my goal for the month already, i'm super excited! I lowered my mothly goal to 133, which is the lightest i'd ever be since like elementary and hopefully will finally moving into my smaller pants. (size 5, thank you very much)
tabit Hey! We're the same height! Hopefully you'll be here in no time
JL Your progress makes me hopeful hah!
therex OH man, 4 months...I think I'd freak out if this lasted longer than a month...it's already bugging me being at the same weight! This week I've changed things around a bit - dropped calories by 100 to 1400 per week - as an average though, I like to zig-zag calories so that I get a higher day usually on the weekend.
I've also recommitted to exercising a minimum of 3x weekly, hopefully 4, 5 would be great. I had been slacking pretty badly in that area.
I'm really hoping for a loss this week now! I'm still at 138.8 as of this morning!
