I work out about 30 minutes after breakfast. I'm not working right now, so I am able to do it then. Seems to work well for me. Having a schedule time for my workouts really helps.

I recently met with a personal trainer for an assessment and I fell during the workout. Yeah, a bit embarrassing, but I got back up and kept going. My point? The trainer said it was probably because I hadn't eaten in a while and apparently if it's been a while between meals your energy and blood sugar level drops off dramatically. She told me to eat 45 mins to an hour before working out. So I personally usually eat a small meal before working out a small snack afterwards. Whatever you do just make sure you have enough energy to fuel your workout.
