So I'm still doing great with the calorie counting! I have been REALLY disciplined about bringing lunches and dinners to school, so I'm proud of me. Yay!

The scale is being kind, too, which always makes me smile. I know that I can't count on always having the feel-good emotions associated with the scale moving down, but I'm gonna enjoy it while it's happening!

Thursdays are my official "weigh day" so I figured I'd share my progress with you guys so far.

Starting Weight (2/3/11): 236 lbs
Current Weight (2/10/11): 232 lbs
Goal Weight (5/1/11): 195lbs

That's 4 lbs lost, which is right on track for what I want to lose a week.

I credit the quick loss to counting calories and using the elliptical regularly—two things I've never done before. I honestly never realized how many calories I was consuming even when I thought I was eating okay. Totally worth the extra effort.

Great job Runic!

I am down 2 lbs. this week, which I actually lost the past couple days. I was doing South Beach and had plateaued, but started counting calories along with SB.

Just saw this thread and hope it's okay for me to hop in a little late! (I'll just call this my 75-day challenge...)

I have a bunch of things going on that I'd like to lose weight for. I have my first solo belly dance performance in about a year coming up in early May, and I'd like to fit into an old costume that doesn't currently fit. I also just started my company's Biggest Loser competition that runs through the end of April - 1st prize is $350, and I'd really like to win that

Shooting for 20 lbs by then!

My scale is not moving at all after TOM over the weekend, BUT after 17 days of P90x I've lost 0.25in on the widest part of my belly and that is a huge accomplishment to me
