For me, my motivation is being healthy. Unfortunately, it's a little extreme because my mom was always very negative about the effects of obesity, so I was afraid a lot of the time that I was going to die. I've since come back to reality that I probably won't die of a heart attack at 175lbs
I just want to be in the healthy weight zone so that I don't have to worry about those things. Some of my family members developed diabetes in their 60s & 70s, & I just don't want to do that. I want to be healthy & active so I can play with my kids & not be hindered by weight or health.
