I hit 176.4 today & I'm sooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!! I really wanna see 175 on Friday b/c A. it would be awesome & B. I would be at a 2lb loss per week for January. That was my goal from the beginning, so that would be fabulous! But yay for 176! The last time I saw that was as I was going up to the 200s, so it's nice to see it again.

Just tried my ZumbaFitness game for 20 minutes (on beginner - little bit of salsa, hip hop, calypso and belly dance) after doing 20 minutes of circuit training. AAHHHHHH!!!! But it was REALLY fun and I was able to keep up really well! If I get snowed in tonight (calling for 10 inches on top of the 2 we got this morning) then I'll do both of the beginner classes tomorrow (both 20 minutes). Even if you don't have the little belt it comes with it would be easy to keep up and get your heart pumping! I was out of breath by the middle of the second song!
We're supposed to get snow here tonight too. We're on the smaller range of snow (only supposed to get 6-10 inches), but that will be on top of the 3+ feet we already have on the ground. CRAZY!!!! I have no idea where we're going to be able to put it.
I had to come home right after work to babysit my nieces since my brother and sister-in-law were going to the Bruins game for my brother's birthday. So, I didn't get to the gym after school like normal, but I did read one of my latest magazines on the exercise bike for about 30 minutes. Not the best, but better than nothing!
I think I'm going to start 30DS and actually do it for 30 days....I've done it several times, but never for 30 days straight. I think it would be interesting to see what results I got if I did shred in the morning and cardio at the gym in the evening...I'll keep you posted. I'm trying to push myself to start tonight!

Linds - I wish I could try what you are trying, but I work way too early to be getting up and exercising before work. If I could get myself to go to bed at like 8 pm, maybe, but that just ain't happening!!
So Tom arrived today, and the scale is down 2.5 pounds from yesterday, thank goodness. I'd appreciate some more whoosh whoosh!!!!! All the way down to 159 would be nice. Ok scale fairy? You got that?? Lol
My only real news is that I get to start my new position at work next Tuesday. I don't know if any of you heard or remember but I was promoted in October/November and have been in limbo since while they found a replacement for me. They could not find a replacement, so they re-organized some current employees and VIOLA! New position here I come!! I'm so excited! I'm definitely ready for it!

We are on snow day #5 in two weeks and I am SO SICK OF THE SNOW!!! The snow banks are taller than me and the snow is taller than our fence posts in the front yard. At this rate, I'm going to be teaching until July! But the roads weren't all that bad this afternoon even though they cancelled school, so I headed to the gym and now I am going to head towards CVS to buy new batteries for my scale which decided to konk out on me yesterday!
I'm jealous of your snow!!!! You all are stuck inside because you're snowed in, I'm stuck inside an office while it's sunny and 75 degrees outside. Nobody wins!!

I got home from work a little early so I did 30DS. I will do cardio a little later tonight....day one..complete! THe more I think about it, I think doing the 30ds/cardio combo will work for about 3 days a week...the other 1-2 days I go to the gym I'll do mainly cardio and abs. I'm going to try this for a month! PLEASE help me stay motivated!
