Default Exercise On Demand

Check your TV Guides to see if your cable/satellite provider offers Exercise On Demand. Through Time Warner Cable, this is an AWESOME and FREE service.

For me its Channel 1071. There are probably 100+ different work outs. Some are specific to Exercise On Demand some are from popular work out videos. The workouts are seperated by categories....Billy Blanks Jr, CRUNCH, 10 minute work outs, abs, Yoga & Pilates, Cardio and so on. They average between 10-30 minutes. There are just a handful that are 40mins-1 hr.

This is a great option now that it is getting so cold out. Also if you don't have a gym nearby/can't afford a gym membership. I do p90x, but some days i just don't feel like watching Tony, so I'll find a similar workout on Exercise On Demand.

For most of the videos you only need a mat and/or handweights.

Check it out!

I have a 1 year old, work full time and commute 1.5 hours a day so finding gym time is basically impossible for me. I get up at 4:30 to work out every morning so this is kind of a life saver.

this station has been a saving grace for me! Sometimes...at the end of the day...using the tredmill makes me want to gag...I don't get to use it until well after 9pm after the twins go to bed. I'm up really early with Liam so it doesn't so much work for me. I can't really leave 11 month old twins to hang out while I'm in the basement. I can do 3 10 min. work outs with them in the room, in their saucers or playpen.

I never thought about using on demand viewing to watch workout videos. My husband and I have a Netflix account and our new Blu-ray player has built-in Netflix Instant Viewing capability. I just checked Netflix and there are several workout videos available for instant viewing!
