I don't use this for workouts but I do use it for work, when I'm all pumped up and want to stay "in the zone" coding for as long as I can... I bet it would work well for the gym too though; I should try it out.

I really like mashups by Girl Talk...his new album is a little over an hour, and it's meant to be listened to all at once. I think it works as great workout music because you just listen to one song flow into the other, and before you know it you've been on the treadmill/bike/elliptical/whatever for over an hour!
