Amanda Thanks for the suggestion - unfortunately I just started up my nail-biting habit again and the only pedicure I ever had I nearly kicked the woman doing it in the face because I was so ticklish haha. I like the idea of something cheap and cheerful as a pick-me-up, like a nail polish...but ever since I got back into biting my nails, that seems a little pointless. I hope you don't feel too tired etc at work tomorrow/today!
Kenzide Go you, keeping up on workouts when you're injured in some way is impressive! I know I'd probably tell myself I deserved a break haha.

K- sorry to hear about your injury!! Falls down the stairs can be rough!
Amanda- hope you aren't too tired today!
I haven't been sleeping very well the past couple of nights! I can't quite figure out what the deal is. I will probably walk again at lunch today and DEF. have my booty in the gym tonight! I feel like ever since I have started writing my food down and counting every calorie to the best of my ability I have been seeing steady results. It makes me feel like I may actually make it to 135! I hope the pace continues! Even if it is only a pound per week I am happy with that!

Hi everyone!
LindsB - Isn't it the best feeling when goal is in sight?! You can totally get to 135.
rainbowstripe - If you budget for it you can do Indian without too much damage. How about chicken in dry curry or just tandoori chicken? Eliminates the butter-soaked curry stuff.
Kawaii - big hugs. Sorry everything's gone to sh!t with dumb dudes and TOM and chocolate. Sounds like you need some retail therapy too.
Kenzide - OUCH. My tailbone hurts just from sitting on the floor without falling on it - get well soon!
***
Well today was a national holiday - Culture Day - and what better way to show appreciation for Japanese culture than to go out and buy a bunch of stuff? I got 3 pairs of flats and 2 new skirts for work, and last night I bought a hoodie from Uniqlo and another pair of shoes and tights.
I'm down to 58.2 kg. 128.3 lbs. 128 is my all time lowest weight after puberty and motivation is high. Stayed pretty well on plan today - had a child sized scoop of ice cream from Baskin Robbins, but breakfast was just a piece of fruit and lunch out at the mall was a chicken salad with dressing on the side.

Rainbow, is cleaning therapeutic? i ****ing hate it! lol. i didn't even manage to get done all that i wanted (vacuum is still left) but i did my mountain of dishes, did the laundry and took out the winter clothes and put away the summer ones... guess that's enough! oh, and i agree with Amanda! spa/manicure is an awesome treat... and if you bite your nails you should get acrylic or gel nails!! although that's not really unexpensive... i should post pics of my blingy nails, haha....
Kenzie, sorry about your fall! hope you're ok!
Linds, you're doing so good with your workout ethic!! that's awesome
as for me, well, like i said before, spent the day cleaning and doing other unpleasant things (in between a mini marathon of CSI ) but i'm quite proud that i actually kicked my booty to do 30DS. it was only day 2 for me, but GOD i hate working out!! i was even screaming it at my computer screen as i was doing it, lol "I HATE WORKING OUT! AAAAAH!!!" lol. it felt like it was even a bit harder than the first time because my leg muscles were still hurting so bad from that first day... i hope that will stop soon! urgh. but anyways. after that i had a salad and soup for supper, so being a good girl hope i can keep my moods up for the rest of the week!!
ok wait... i actually went and uploaded some photos of my nails... ooooh...
the first ones are the ones i have now (which i got to match my marilyn costume) and the second ones are the ones i got for my birthday in august ^_^
i bite my nails too

Haha. Ladies Day is the highlight of my week!
(At my local mall every Wednesday is "Ladies Day" with special sales for chicks - I never take advantage but I like to pretend it's an excuse to go shopping!)

Hey Everyone! I tried posting last night but it must've gotten deleted..blah! Oh well! A little update I'm very proud of to walked/jog 2.17 miles yesterday. Usually I will just walk/jog 1-1.5 miles but nope not this time, I gave myself an extra push and made it that far! And might I add it did show up on the scale this morning--I'm down to 176.2 (Let's just hope it sticks!)..Soo far the 170's are flying..hopefully it stays flying. I'm going to try to get up to 3 miles before the week is over but who knows that might just be pushing it lol. Also I'm hoping to get threw L3D2 of 30DS...D1 freaked me out so bad that I haven't been able to go back and do Day 2 yet lol..or thats the excuse I've been using. Hope everyone has a great day!

Feeling very blah today. Not sure why.
I think I need to shake up my diet a little. I think I may switch from South Beach to calorie counting, possibly calorie cycling.
I just can't kick this blah-y mood that I am in today. I really don't like it. Hubby has to work tonight so it will just be me and little one. I am making Parmesan/Mustard Crusted Pork Loin Chops, so I am excited for that. And since hubs won't be home for dinner, I can have leftovers for lunch tomorrow and Friday.
Tomorrow is Yoga day for P90X, I think I will also go to Jazzercise after work tomorrow. I want to go to Jazzercise at least once a week because I do enjoy it.

Haha thanks guys. It's nice to have people who don't laugh at me for falling down the stairs. Again. XD
rainbowstripe I've been doing my workouts at night, so I spend the whole day whining about how it hurts and then at the last minute I'm like oh well, I'll just man up and do it anyway. XD
LindsB Sorry to hear you're not sleeping well! Something stressing you lately? Good job with the exercise and the calorie counting, you'll make it to 135, definitely.
krampus Jealous, now I want to go shopping! You'll have to show us some of these new shoes sometime. Good job on the loss, you're doing so well!
KawaiiCandie Those nails are so pretty! I can't stop staring at the pictures haha. Good job with the 30DS! Those first couple of days killed me too, but it gets better. I like that Jillian tells you at various points NOT to turn off the DVD. I'm always like yes ma'am, I won't!
JLNichols07 Even if you don't get to three miles by the end of the week, you should still be proud of yourself! You're pushing yourself and I'm sure you'll get to three miles in no time. Good luck with the 30DS too! Don't let it freak you out too much, you can do it.
jenn33082 Sorry to hear you're feeling blah. Hope you feel better soon! And good luck with the P90X

Linds, home is Montreal, Canada, and now i live in Japan! i haven't been home in over a year (summer 2009) so i'm pretty excited about it! not too excited about the cold though...
jenn, hang in there! i think it's going around... must be the change of seasons and all that. and it's good to have things you can enjoy cooking and eating! i think i should get a good diet recipe book or something... i always end up cooking the same things, that aren't always very tasty... meh. but i just can't be bothered to make anything complicated! (also, if you saw the size of my kitchen, you would cry).
kenzie, thanks! the birthday ones were a TREAT cuz the art was ridiculously expensive! >_< but i was so happy with them and got so many compliments ^_^ nail art is really crazy in japan and i've just fallen in love with it... but for some reason it costs 3 times the price as what it does back home... so sad... i got them done maybe 8-10 times since being in japan (2 1/2 years) so i'll post some more pics when i have time, if you like
well, today is a new day! hopefully it goes well. not weighing myself cuz it's TOM and it would just make me depressed... have a nice one!

Linds I hope you manage to start sleeping better! I heard that if you're not getting enough sleep that can affect weight loss? Your exercise motivation is amazing, you are doing so well!
krampus Thanks for the tip! I was kind of thinking it would be ok to budget for something like that, but then I'm also worried because of the close friend's birthday party after the dinner - dinner out AND alcoholic drinks are both enough to stress me out to the point where I'd consider not going out haha.
Kawaii Well...maybe not entirely therapeutic for everyone haha, but I always feel at least a little sense of accomplishment/achievement when I've done it? As for acrylic/gel nails - I just don't like them lol. I like the look of them on other people, but the one time I had them I felt so so weird. I just need to give up biting my nails! I had nice long natural ones 2 weeks ago and then they started breaking so I just gave them a helping hand (or tooth..) haha, and once I've started I can't stop biting them. Good on you for keeping up with the 30DS! You're doing great!
JL I'm so happy for you that you broke that plateau you were having last week or the week before! You're rocketing through the 170's, how awesome!
jenn Hope you're feeling better when you read this. I had a very blah day yesterday too, and woke up this morning feeling a lot better. Your dinner sounds great. Changing your eating plan could be beneficial too, and if it doesn't work for you you can always go back to South Beach! Hope your workouts are good!
Kenzide Oh man yeah, if I'm exercising at night after work, I definitely whine (at least to myself) throughout the day and then just suck it up and do it. On my days off, I try to exercise in the morning, but I usually spend half the day putting it off...like I'm currently doing now hah!
~Woke up feeling less weird and grumpy than yesterday, but still not 100%. I said yesterday that I wouldn't waste another day trolling the internet and wasting time on my laptop...well so far I've slept in til 11am haha, and I really feel like I should do something! I'm going to have a coffee...and read some blogs and then I think I should just get my workout out of the way and perhaps tidy my room here at my parents - though I really don't feel like doing that at all, it's not that messy and I just don't feel like it because I only spend 1 night a week here. I'm considering going shopping today, there's a sale on at one of our department stores here in NZ...but I kind of can't be bothered. Oh man, maybe yesterday's funk is still with me. Grrr.
Good thing about today - I get to cook my own dinner, just for me. No idea what I'll have yet...but I'm kind of looking forward to just cooking for me!

Rainbow- indian doesnt have to be a disaster eating wise MY boyfriend is indian so its a pretty usual dilemma for me >.< Usually any kind of "dry" curry is going to be better than one that has lots of sauce, so things like tikamasala is going to be better than a rogan josh. And be wary of appertisers and desserts because they add up like no ones business. And avoid lots of rice. And be careful if you decide vegetarian is going to be easier and lower cal than meat- chickpeas are little *******s! I also have this link http://www.weightwatchers.com.au/uti...=40131&sc=3030 which only talks about points, but gives a vague idea of how to avoid lots of damage
Kawaii- omg those nails are awesome! Lol sometimes i want to scream that at the gym too I think i'd be kicked out though. The joy of training at home!
JL- congrats on your walk/jog (wog?)!
My laptop is still broken, I'm going into withdrawal. At least my weight is down so I'm cautiously positive about that and I have all my documents backed up on Dropbox so i can still get to my plan etc. But what a pain!

Icon Thanks for the advice! I was looking at the menu and curious as to what a dry curry actually is. I'm thinking about getting this:
Charcoal Chicken $10.90
Boneless pieces of chicken marinated with Indian spices & grilled
in Tandoor oven served with salad (4 pieces)
It's off the appetizer/entree menu so could be kind of small. They also do a plate of mixed vegetables as a side, so depending on how those are prepared, I might get them as well.
I think I'd be way way less worried if I wasn't planning on drinking that night too. I know I could just not, but I am being stubborn!
~YAY. I just spent nearly 3 hours reorganising and tidying my room at my parent's house. A lot of throwing away was done. A bit of reminiscing also, found my little paper bag full of stuff from my ex. I'm well over him, but it was just interesting to have a glimpse into the past. Now I'm starving since it's nearly 4pm and I haven't eaten since my smoothie at 11am. Better get some lunch/early dinner...kind of like that I can almost have a bigger meal now!
