i want to join! i weighed in today at 179.6 and was really excited. just after a quick bathroom break first thing in the morning...and then i decided to check again and was 180.4. boo. so, tomorrow first thing I am hoping to see 179. so close! good luck to you all! i am hoping to see us all in the 170 group very soon.

Up to 183 this morning but I expected worse after the hoagie. Didn't get to go for as long of a walk as I wanted to yesterday - the dog was just not having it! (She's weird like that) But other than the hoagie and not getting a full workout yesterday I'm doing pretty good so far this weekend! I finally got back to my Sunday spin class (I've given the boyfriend the ultimatum that my workout schedule needs to come first)

TOM is over too so tomorrow I'm hoping to see under 182.

Ahhh don't say that! I weighed myself this morning and got 179.6 ... you're making me want to get back on the scale to make sure

Hello ladies! I am officially joining your ranks as of today! Today was my weekly weigh in and I can OFFICIALLY say I am in the 180's!

I weighed in at 188! So excited to finally OFFICIALLY be here and hoping to get out just as fast lol but I know it will take work.

Seems once you hit the 180's everythign is slowing down for me, ANyone else see this happen?

Any tips/advice MUCH appreciated!

Can't wait to get to know all of you ladies =)

Thinking 182.5 today, but I can't be sure since my boyfriend's house doesn't have a scale. And no matter how tired I am, I will workout tonight!

Kriz - Congrats on making it to the 180s! And hello from a fellow Jersey girl I found that once I hit the 170s I hit a dead halt and have now worked my way back up to the 180s and it's going very slow. I was 185 last year at Thanksgiving after starting in July at 225 and in the 170s in January and I haven't made much progress since :C If you work hard and stay focused you'll beat those 180s!

Well after a couple week hiatus I am back on here. I did GREAT working out, have been faithful 4 days a week. On the other hand, I am sucking with food. AS ALWAYS. I have officially been in the 180's thread for 4 MONTHS. I made a brief appearance in the 170's. Hope to get there again someday. 183.6 today. Maybe by Thanksgiving. Damn Halloween candy. Grrrr.

Who finally worked out on a non-gym-going day? I DID! And it felt SO. GOOD. to be working out at home, in my basement where this hard and dirty journey began. I missed my Exercise.TV so much! I worked out my calorie burning per week and it looks like Saturday is going to be my rest day. I go spinning at the gym Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday so Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I'll be doing 30 minutes of cardio at home.

180s? I'm BUSTING out of you and there ain't nothin' you can do about it!

All of you other girls who have been in the 180s chokehold - who's with me?

Hi there!
I've just said goodbye to the 190s thread. I spent 2 months there, aiming for this weight of 189. Now my sight is set on 179. I've never been below 187 so in a few weeks I should be seeing new numbers for me on the scale.
I'm excited and also terrified.

182 today. Alllllmost 181.5, which flashed at me for a second, but that's what scales do to tease you. I'm getting a scale for my boyfriend's at CVS today.

Audri - You're so close! I bet you'll be there by next week

I'm off to spinning class at the gym!

Looks like a LOT of you are going to be joining in the 170's soon! Just as I get here =) Well I'm REALLY REALLY pushing myself this week in time for Thanksgiving, I figure the harder I push myself this week, the easier I can wrap my mind around pushing myself even harder next week.

I dunno, something about challenges within myself excite me. =)

I wish you all major luck on moving out of this thread, although I'll miss you guys and hopefully get to know you once I join the 170's haha


Do you guys find that once you hit the 180's, that is where you plateau? I'm very scared of plateauing! I've lost 31lbs in 13 weeks...I'm frightened it is going to stop! I almost find myself thinking this can't be right! LOL I dunno...mind games!

Kriz - I plateaued, but I've seen others push right through and have no trouble getting to goal (of course, they keep a very strict regiment of food + exercise), but just remember that everyone is different. If you stay focused and don't let your mind play games with you then you'll have no trouble at all! Congrats on your awesome loss so far Good luck with the 180s! thats platformine (fellow Jersey girl HEY!!!). LOVE your profile pic! I also love that you are 5'4 like me! hahaha. I was reading a study that said shorter people burn more calories when exercising because we have to cover for more footage. =) Just one of those benefits of being short I guess!

Here's to you getting out of the 180's and me being closely behind!

Mary....can you freaking believe we are still here. This thread should be named after us at this point. Can we seriously get out of here someday?!

Kriz- yes, my weight loss has hit a wall in the 180's, but it is totally my fault. I was super strict and I became lax once I dipped to 179. And now I have been hanging here for months. I work out, but I eat like crap here and there and it curtails my efforts. If you stick to it, you will be fine. Our stats are super close, hopefully I can jump on your train and scoot out of here with you! I lost 32 in 13 weeks, so we must have very similar metabolism!

LET'S GET OUT OF HERE (And stay out too!)
