Wow you guys are all doing so great!!

I havent been on in a while, life got crazy. My best friend got married, I moved into a new apartment...crazyness lol. I haven't lost too much more. (I'm at 152.5) but I also haven't gained so Woohoo!! Lol

Hi Everyone!

I'm a forum stalker. I always think how useful it would be if I used it. I'm trying to lose weight for the millionth time. I think that right now I need support to succeed, so I'm trying that. I've finally decided to be serious about watching what I eat and making sure I get exercise in.

Last Weds I was 154, I will weight in again this Weds.

I think my biggest challenge right now is trying to maintain a normal life. Still being about to eat out with friends and go out for drinks.

so I attempted to stay off the scale, mostly because I was afraid there would be damage from my semi-off plan, but budgeted for Saturday/Sunday....to my surprise I saw 151! I cannot WAIT to say good-bye to the 150's for good and no longer be losing weight I have already lost!

147 I must see you soon please!

after that binge, i actually fasted yesterday and today im eating only fruits and veggies..trying to clean my system out maybe it will help with the cravings and such.

It's so great to see everyone getting back on track after Halloween! I weighed in at 138.8 today. Again, disappointed because I was below this weight already nearly a week ago, but that's okay.

COngrats to everyone back on track. LIlly i weighed myself today and it said 143 i am soooo disappointed. 3 lbs of gain! Thanks a lot pizza. BUt i am back on track and hopefully ill be back to the 140's by friday (fingers crossed).

shasha- you and I both are dying for 147! Once I get back there, I won't be re-losing weight I lost for my wedding anymore! There are still days I can't believe I let myself gain 10 lbs back! I can tell you that it certainly won't be happening again!

hi guys, i am back. i was on vacation for a week in oct and the scale skyrocketed after that. i was 147 when i left and up to 155 when i got back. down to 153 and i still can't get it to go down. i'm beyond frustrated because i thought it would mostly be just water weight, but now i'm guessing not. i'm trying really hard this week and hope to see 150 by next monday. just need to keep chugging my water. my thanksgiving goal was 140. don't think i will make it to that, but hopefully close.

skinny- that scares me! I am going on vacation over christmas to an all-inclusive resort! HELP! Any tips!?! I really just want to "maintain" while I'm there.

thats what i wanted to do too. i didn't even eat that bad and i had one drink the whole trip. i'd say work-out during your trip, i didn't bring clothes to do so or else i would have. if you really want to maintain eat like you would on your diet and maybe have one slurge meal a day. or share the bad things.

hey alicia, welcome back!!

pink, glad to have you here! no need to stalk, feel free to jump in

linds, i did the SAME THING last yr after my sister’s wedding. I got down to 150-ish from 168, and then PROMPTLY gained it all back and more as soon as the wedding was over. I was SO mad at myself and it was so painful to get that weight i had already lost back off of me we’re totally kindred spirits, girl. let’s keep each other motivated! we can do this! i’d say try to be mindful of your eating on your trip (all inclusive, yikes!), and indulge at one meal a day. breakfast one day, lunch the next, dinner the next, etc. and work out if u can. 30 mis on the elliptical is no big deal when ur laying around all day, right??

skinnyby25, welcome back!!! i did that exact same thing after vacation this past may. Was down to 148, came back from vacay at 155, thought it was all going to be water weight, and eventually had to come to terms w the fact that I was at 153 again. so sorry girl! but we’re here for you! you’ve done it once, you’ll do it again.

ok ladies, i think i have to re-evaluate. i have been losing REALLY SLOWLY. and i set these time-oriented goals for myself (like i want to hit 140 by nov 30th), and then i fail to meet them every time! EVERY time! So i’m wondering WHY I lose so slowly. And I’ll wager that I lose this slowly bc I do not eat as healthily as I can, and I do not work out as regularly as I should, and I let myself cheat several times a week. we’re talking a handful of chips and salsa, but it counts! it’s 200 cals, 700mg of sodium, and extra unhealthy fat i don’t need. So, it’s experiment time.

I’m going to a wedding next weekend. My honey and I leave thurs. that’s one week from today. I am going to go to great pains to EAT RIGHT, exercise, drink my water, and *GASP* go to sleep at a decent hour. I’ll report back tomorrow... let’s see what happens...

Sasha no worries you can do this!! What really helped me is being super strict with myself and the one time that i am not i wont beat myself up. BUt if plan cheat weeks then there are always the days when i havent planed a cheat day and it still happens so at the end of the week/month i have double cheat days. You should try that and maybe it'll help! You can so be at 140 by nove 30 th! Were only 4 days in! You can do it.

On sidenote. I did horrible today and cheated badly. So tomorrow its gym for two hours.
