So it's been a week since my start date and my goal was to not gain anymore. For a few weeks now, I've been gaining a little bit here and there, but that was with scattered exercise and silly eating. I mean, basically, I wasn't committed to my plan.
This past week did not go as well as I had hoped. I went to the gym Monday-Wednesday but not Thursday-Saturday plus I ate Chick-Fil-A breakfast and dinner at Red Lobster on Saturday. I also did not make it to the gym yesterday because I pulled my back at work on Sunday. I'm going back to the grind when I finish this post!
However, despite a few setbacks, I not only didn't gain this week but I finally started losing again - 1.4lbs. In order to make my goal weight a year from now, I need to lose, on average, 2lbs/week, so I am completely and totally satisfied with losing 1.4lbs this week, especially since I didn't think I was going to lose anything and was even terrified of gaining. Still, despite this miniature success, I hope I can stay on plan for this entire week. I would feel so empowered and motivated if I could stay on plan for a whole week for once.
