Default Newbie!

Hi Everyone!

I'm new to the site and wanted to say hello to all the lovely people in my age group.

I've been overweight my entire life but just recently have decided to do something serious about it. Not a crash diet or a magic pill that I've tried a million times before..but a full on lifestyle change.

My motivation actually came from a double heartbreak I've had this year. 2 men that I absolutely adored pushed me into the "friend zone" with no hopes of ever escaping. I'm not sure why men see bigger girls like me as a the "awesome friend" and nothing more, but I'd certainly like to fix that.

It's going to be a long journey but I think having all you lovely people here for inspiration and chat will make it very enjoyable!
