Thanks for the support, everyone! I really love the friendly environment here

Tomorrow is my 21st birthday, and I'm determined to make this the best year of my life so far! I'm trying not to get too excited about the weight I've already lost because I don't want to get complacent. But almost 20 pounds since the beginning of the semester...it's hard not to get excited.

Let's keep going, everyone!! WE'VE GOT THIS!! Any loss is good loss, be it half a pound or 10 pounds!

It's been a long time since I posted on this board, probably about 3 months, but I hope you don't mind me joining back in. I'm currently at 148.8 so I have 8.8 pounds left till I'm in the fabulous 130s.
Best of luck to all of y'all.

I wasn't going to weigh this morning because it is the week before my TOM and I always want to eat everything in sight and retain a little water, but I decided to get on the scale because I NEED to keep tabs on where I am...Down a pound! Woot!!!!!!! I am very happy with a pound loss per week, although I'd love it to be faster hehe!

Congrats LindsB, LillyLover, and Haley!

Haley, I know what you mean! I always lose the most before my 'weekend' (tuesday/wednesday) and then those days I tend to be less active so my weight usually stalls haha.

This is a great place for accountability and to get positive support!

I'm officially at 153.0 this morning, looks like doing induction properlly is helping lose what I gained during thanksgiving and the day after where I was stuck eating whatever my friends had at their house (which was just chips and chocolate, from 20 carbs to 1000!)

.8 down from the day before isn't bad I have the Atkins head ache back so I feel like I'm doing something right haha. I haven't tested my pee for ketones though, so maybe I'll do that tonight

here I sit at my desk munching a fiber bar in an attempted to stay away from the delicious coffee cake and donuts that someone put on the island right by my desk! This is just another time eating "right" becomes extremely difficult!!!!! I'm hoping the proud feeling I will have from not indulging will make it worth it! Prob not though

OK i cut myself off one bite and I'm glad I did because I got to taste the deliciousness and now i can forget about it instead of obsessing about how I can't have any! That's not too bad-right?! atleast I didn't eat the whole thing or even 1/2 of it!

Keep up the great work, ladies!! You're all such great motivation.

I weighed in at an extra pound today, 144.2, but I'm not letting it get me down because today is my 21st birthday!!! My friends and I are going out tonight to celebrate, so I'm trying to keep the intake in moderation. We'll see...

I officially start my hardcore Accuweight diet on Monday/Tuesday. I'm considering this birthday celebration a last hurrah.
