I've had well defined collarbones for some time and I don't really mind that but yes, the bony sternum is really off-putting. I used to think that it was only really skinny girls that this happened to but even though I'm still 'overweight' by BMI my sternum is showing through.

I think collarbones are sexy. Mine don't show up till I go below 130 lbs.

I love my collarbones and my hip bones...its my ribs that creep me out a bit. I'm starting to see more than just one rib now and when i look in the mirror and move around/twist/stretch..seeing the skin sliding over those bones, its just weird to me lol.

Oh man, I'm pretty scared actually - I have this gland in my neck that is still swollen from when I had glandular fever in like... 2001... it's not dangerous or anything, just a swollen gland that never went down and it's fairly visible if i lean my head to one side - now I'm worried that it's going to stick out really obviously when I lose more weight, and because it's not dangerous or life-threatening, they count removing it as "cosmetic surgery".

I don't really have collar bones yet. Just a bit of a dip where the hollow of my throat should be. Can't wait for those babies to be defined!

I do have pokier elbos and bones in my hands, though. And I can see/feel my pelvis when I lie down - can't wait to see it when I'm standing!. I've always been able to feel my shin bone, though - I gain most of my weight around my middle, but my lower legs rock.

What HAS shown up and grossed me out are those bony tendon things behind my knee on the edges. Ew. They're way more defined now, but they feel like they might break! They're kinda gross, but I'm also kinda happy - SO couldn't feel them when I was at 207.

Apparently my butt bones are starting to get uncovered a bit, because I just yesterday landed hard on something and it HURT. Normally I wouldn't have thought much of it.

My knees also bruise a little if I sleep on my side with one on the other. I need a pillow for that. It's not too bad yet, but I'm hoping they get bonier. I don't like pain, but this is great!
