I'm kind of weird, I guess, because I have been losing AROUND but my actual breasts have remained the same size. So in 20 pounds I went from a 36C to a 34D, and I'm starting to actually come out of the D cup... I'm fairly certain that if they haven't gone away at this point, they won't... 32DD, here I come. o.O
I started out with a 38DD granny bra that barely contained the boobs and now I am at a 34B. The boobs are not great looking considering the extra skin issue but I feel a lot less self-conscious about it now.
Advice for any girls whose bra size is still changing....try TJ Maxx, Marshalls, or any other close-out store for bras. They aren't VS quality by any means but they are cute, have a good range of sizes, and average about $5-10 each which is great if your bra size is not stable. I know it saved me a ton of money.
At my weight of 126 when I was in high school I was a 32C. At my highest weight of 190 I was a 36-38DD. I'm not exactly sure what I am right now, but I'm still wearing my 38DD bras that are a little loose and fitting better in my 36DD bras. Maybe I should try on my pretty 36D bra today.....
Well I finally sucked it up and bought the bra yesterday. Sports bras are good for most of the time for me, buuuuuut I need something more appropriate for dressing up for work and all, and the regular bra has just been feeling awkward for the past month. SO I went to the store and got the 36A. Perhaps I'll lose some more in band size and end up back in a B eventually? Who knows, who cares. Lol... I'd rather lose weight, but it's nice to have a comfier fitting bra again.
My band size hasn't gone down, but I went up a cup size. Random, right? I knew I'd gained some in the boobs, but I guess I'm not loosing it. I went from a 34C to a 34D. I'm not large chested either, I look pretty proportional I think.
My roommate said she's convinced Bras have gotten smaller. Vanity sizing maybe?
Vanity sizes in bras to make people think they wear a smaller size? If anything, I'd think they'd say it's a bigger size than the bra really is. I think there are quite a few women who would like to fool themselves into thinking they wear a larger size bra.
At my highest I was probably a 40-42D or DD, I never really bought proper undergarments because my mom was cheap.
I got a nice VS bra from my boyfriend on xmas that was a 38D, and now it's way too big. The band fits comfortable and minimizes my back fat on the tightest clip, but the cups are huge. But I refuse to buy new bra's, nice ones at least, until later. So I'm wearing cheap Kohls bra's. I'm probably a 38C, maybe smaller.
Ladies, this conversation is opening up windows for me.
I am naive I guess but I never realized that anyone wore anything bigger than a DD. I've never seen any thing bigger in stores? This is just out of curiosity but do you have to buy them somewhere special?
Oh yeah, once you pass that DD mark (which came at about the age of 15 for me...) you have to start buying from specialty stores. Back home, there were actual stores that sold my size. I've moved across country now and can't find a store so I have to buy online.
eta- if I ever see a bra in my size under $60.00 I do a little happy dance and snatch it up ASAP!
I lost a bit of boob too - I hope I don't lose anymore. In the wrong bra, I look like there's nothing there, but thankfully they still look respectable in a push-up! Funnily enough, I thought I'd lost a cup size too, but when I went to get properly fitted, she reduced the band size but kept the cup size the same. They fit really well, but I know my boobs have shrunk. A cup size is definitely not universal to band sizes.

Such a good idea! I am such a bra snob lol and hate to wear anything not from VS, but if my girls start shrinking I don't want to buy in-between sizes that will only get a couple months of use.
I was a 32B/C when I was 130, and at 230 I was a 38C. So hopefully my band size will go down but not the cup. I look proportional with a B/C at 130.
