I remember reading an analogy on here about a year ago (I can't remember who said it) that you can imagine loosing weight as unrolling sheets of toilet paper off a toilet paper roll. At first when the roll is big if you take off 10 sheets you can't really tell. But as you go along it gets more noticeable. When the toilet paper roll is almost out, when you take 10 sheets off it is definitely noticeable. I don't know if this will help you but I thought it was a good analogy.
