Oh boy. This is Epic Weight Loss Attempt #2 in my life so far, so I'll include pictures from both.


Summer of 2002 - between 10th and 11th grade in high school. 165ish lbs and a whole lotta fashion challenged...


Summer of 2004 - high school graduation. 128 lbs. Lowest weight to date. Didn't last long as I worked the summer at Pizza Hut and went off to college.


Christmas 2009 - singing "Like a Virgin" at my 23rd birthday party. 155ish lbs. Stayed around this size for almost 3 years.


July 2010 - at a beloved BBQ joint in Saratoga. 138ish lbs.

I'm 132 now! Somewhere around 134 my perception of myself and my size changed. I find myself poking my brand new ribs and hip bones and almost marveling in a very self-indulgent way.

Some of the "before" and "after" photos on here are absolutely mind-boggling and truly inspirational. I really enjoy putting faces to names.

EDIT: To post photos, click the little postcard/image icon (should be the 7th from the left) and copy and paste the URL/address of the picture you want (should end in .jpg, .gif or .png)!
