Yes Supersize Me was an eye opener. Although I do indulge on fast food every once in awhile. Its every once in awhile for a reason and I think it was after that movie I saw the light...

ON a happier note......I MADE MY GOAL!!! Two days I weighed in at 135 and some change. I dont think its a fluke because Im just coming off of TOM and had a good wknd w/ working out and eating. I cant believe it. I thought it would take longer to get here but finally...I MADE IT!!!!
So since this is fresh Im not for sure if Im gonna change my next goal to 130-129. Since I can remember I havent been 130 since I was 16. I made it to 134 three years ago and couldnt get lower...however I dont think I was in the mindset I am in right now to do it!!! Like I said I have until May to get to 129-130 so I am not in any rush but it would be cool to hit it by April my birthday.
AHHHH!!! I even saw 134.4 after my workout but Im not getting too excited about that...lol!!!
Good day ladies!!!

Thanks forestroad and bablou for the encouragement, back from my trip and ready to pick it back up. Way to go on breaking your barriers too, that's awesome!!! They gave us food every time we turned around on vacation...I have a feeling I am sitting around 141-142 but REFUSE to weigh myself until at least next week. Warm weather totally has crept up on me and now I feel rushed and kinda worried about being too late to make goal. Though I have done it before, so here's to doing it again. Good luck to you all, keep up the good work.

Side note, just got my copy of P90X... This is definitely going to take some serious dedication. Beginning to wonder if everything I've done previous to this is even going to help lol.

Bablou- Congrats on goal! That's awesome

I haven't had a real weigh in since Friday either. I had a very active weekend but also a food-filled one. We shall see.

^^^ Thanks girl I might of ruined it today with Butter Pecan ice cream but I was craving it....haha!!!

I actually had a good eating day otherwise since I didnt work out as hard so I might be ok. Hope to get a good run in tomorrow before some people come see my Condo!! Pray that they luv it and take if off my hands Im ready to move on w/ my life...lol!!!

Diornotwar: Yah Ive had some splurge days here and there. Using a website to track is a great idea. I luv thedailyplate.com. I track 5-6 days a wk. It keeps me honest.

Jennsreadytolose: No rush to get on the scale if you dont want it. I think you should give yourself a few days to get some good eating days and workouts in and then jump on there. I know the scale can be very "mood altering" at least for me. Good luck to you starting P90x. I have it sitting on my DVD player I just cant pull myself to work out for 60mins with a video. But the results from people are AMAZING!!!

rynkay and melaneia (pretty name!)

Bablou- you are awesome, and I love your avatar--so pretty! Also, my bff just got back from spring break in Kentucky (she's a law student at UVA and was doing some pro bono stuff out there) and surprisingly said Kentucky was the best spring break ever. So yay Kentucky, too.

I don't know what I weigh bc I am a bum and didn't go to the gym today. It was so nice out, I should have run but my stomach isn't feeling so great and I'm generally in a weird mood from getting waitlisted at Princeton, which obviously isn't great news but isn't really bad news either; they only accepted 9% of applicants and waitlisted 4%. I'm just feeling kinda out of it, ya know? At least I got in a walk at lunch today. And my waist is flirting with 26.something (usually it's 27-27.5) so even though I know I'm probably somewhere in the low-mid 130s, I'm still feeling good about that.

EDIT: I am now inspired to do my strength training at home even though I didn't get in my run. Crunches, push ups, planks, here I come! Y'all are my motivation.

Forestroad: Your too sweet Thanks Kentucky is nice but Im ready to go back home to Kansas City. Im totally with you on getting inspired by coming on here...especially when I want to be lazy that day...lol!! Good luck with Princeton

Marty8585: Welcome and please join us...we would luv to hear your story. Im an emotional eater and I have found that exercise is my true stress reliever and in turn I eat better. You just have to find what works best for you. Good luck

SpinQueen: Hello sister on making it to the 30's!!! Im so excited more are joining us. What did you do to get back?? Ive read somewhere your into spin (hence your name....haha)

My wknd was so okay. Ive stayed 134 since Tuesday however today I had a 135.6 but I knew that was gonna happen since I took the day off from exercising yesterday and had pizza, hummus, went wine tasting and drank bourbon...haha!!!! I had an eventful night
I worked out really hard today and plan to run tomorrow so I bet Ill be back to 134 in no time. Im starting to lose my butt so thats worrying me a little. I like my shape right now so I wouldnt be upset if I stayed here really. My girlfriend just told me I needed to chill or I was going to shrink!!! That wont happen but I think I will know if I get to small. I dont want to get crazy with it but 130 sounds so good.....

How is everyone doing? I ran 9 miles yesterday and then pretty much evacuated anything that was left in my body lol and was definitely in the 120s, so that was fun for a day, but otherwise I am pretty much the same. I'll be taking my 1 year anniversary of WL journey pics on Sunday, so hopefully there will be some difference from my goal pics from back in October
