surprisingly, valentines day i stayed in my calorie range (due to the fact that i ended up accidentally skipping lunch because i was running around doing stuff all day), but didn't do so well the day before and after. My WI yesterday was 133 and today was 132.8 (up from 131.2). Really hoping its water retention from the meal out on vday and the leftovers from it I had last night, and TOM because I REALLY want to get to my next mini goal, which is next friday, and going to the gym much between now and then is looking very doubtful. At least I am back on track calorie-wise today

im stuck at 133 again, but im hoping that tomorrow 132 will reappear now that my period has finally come (i typically gain weight right before, and then lose it the last day) its so frustrating to be so close to the 120's and feel unable to reach it! but im determined and i want to lose those darn 4 pounds within the next couple of weeks. so im resorting to some calorie counting and am going to the gym more
how is everyone else doing?

Im okay with it. I think Feb is going to be a chill month then Im gonna go hard when I restart my program March 1st. I feel good at the weight I am right now so I will be ok if I stayed here for awhile. Hope everyone is well

OK I think I finally broke the plateau. Only by .5 but oh well Im counting it. I weighed in for the last few days at 136.5!!!! Yeppie!!! At first this morning I jumped on the scale and it said 141.1 I was like heck no...there is know way I gained 5lbs overnight. Plus it was a new scale since I am back home at the rents. Well then I did it again and it said 136.5. So I did it 3more times and got the same 136.5!!!
I couldnt figure out what the heck was going on. I did eat a whole lot better this wk at work and got some good cardio in. I just hope I can keep it up while being out of town....wish me luck!!! Hope everyone is well

Good luck Bablou! We're kind of body twins too, except you're a bit taller and leaner. I was back down to 130 this morning but know I was dehydrated after my run last night.

Ok little late to the party, everyone left the other thread...oops. Down to 136 as well, on the brink of 135! (lowest weight of my adult life) So excited, so much that I turned down fast food and opted for my tuna and egg whites. It was hard at first, but was really happy about it afterward. Good luck everyone!

Thanks bablou00! I had my treat meal on sunday and over indulged on pizza but I exercised intensely that night. Yeah after 3-4 months and no break I would have been dead by now, lol day 6 (consecutively) I am like ugghhhhhhh. You have definitely earned it!

I feel pretty frustrated. I had been hovering around 130 all week, but now I'm solidly at 134. TOM should be coming up soon... but I also know I made some poor food decisions. Sigh... so hard to pass up late night fast food.

jenn- that's awesome! let us know when you get there

bablou- thanks I'm taking it a bit easier with exercise right now too--recovery is just as important as the workout.

wfonseca- there are plenty of runners on here if you are looking for some support to start. I say start slow and only do what you find enjoyable, so you actually develop a liking for it rather than starting too much too fast and quitting.

seventeen- we've all been there--stick with it; I'm sure most of that is water weight and maybe you'll be rewarded with a big whoosh out of the 130s after TOM if you stay OP.

Jennsreadytolose: Ummm pizza sounds so good right now. I was thinking about that earlier!! Pizza's always my cheat meal. Thanks...its hard not working out when Ive done it so much lately but its been a great break

wfonseca: Im so proud of you!! Your doing so great. Jogging/running is a great way to lose those last stubborn pounds. Yes start off slow. I started with 1mile then increased weekly/biwkly and I made it up to being able to run 6miles with ease. U will get there. Also look up HIIT (it will increase your endurance and strength with running).

SeventeentheStar: hang in there sister. Since I weigh daily I know when TOM is coming and Im always at a stand still the wk before and during. Try to do something different in your workout or try a new healthy recipe that always seems to help me.

Forestroad: Thanks lady!! I think Feb is going to be my easy month...Im ready to recharge for March...come on Spring!!!

As for me I am still around 136 and I feel ok even though I didnt work out for 4 days. Today was the first day I did anything and I felt strong running. My friends/family could see a difference in my body since I havent seen them since I was 145-146ish. It feels good when people notice. Im in scrubs all day at work so everyone just thinks I still look the same...lol!!!

Two people who have seen me in the last month said I looked really skinny yesterday, even though I haven't lost a lb. Guess that means I'm toning up

^^^Thanks girly!! It feels good to hear it from people who really know you. Everyone in my family knows I like to work out and try to eat healthy majority of the time but I dont get that encouragement and praise since I dont live by them. For me it makes me work a little harder to reach whatever goal Ive set for myself.

Forestroad: Building muscle really does a lot for the appearance of your body. Even if you dont see a change in weight on the scale your body is really leaning out because muscle takes up more space then fat. I luv how I look and feel when Im more muscular.

Good news for me today as I thought being home and not working out I was guaranteed to gain at least 2lbs. NOPE!!! I was 136.2 when I woke up this afternoon before work. I was estatic. Im so close to goal and can remember thinking back that it was going to take me a long time to get there. I plan to hit 135 by the end of the wk. I want two or three days of running at least 6miles this wk if the weather is good outside. Im so so happy....
