If you started working out this week, your muscles could be holding on to the water weight. Are you sore at all? Give it a few days, I am sure the scale will start moving. Congrats on all of your success so far.

That sounds like me last week. In the two weeks before that I lost a total of 9 lbs and then last week not even a full pound. I was so frustrated because Ididn't change anything I was doing and felt like I should have been losing more then .6lbs! Now this week...I'm almost down another 2lbs and I'm doing the same exact thing as last week and the 2 weeks before that!

Just hang in there. Like PP said it could be your muscles retaining water from you working out.

You're doing great, keep up the good work! We all hit those stalls sometimes...some of us early in the game, some later and some all throughout the process! Don't focus so much on what the scale says as how you feel and the changes you've made. You're moving in the right direction! Good job!

I agree...sometimes you'll "gain" weight when you start working out...I would keep working out and hold off on the scale for as long as you can stand.

Remember, it moves in mysterious ways!

I agree with 170 - when you start a workout plan your body hangs on to water - heard Bob Greene talk about it on Oprah. So don't give up! Keep doing what you're doing. There is no way a month from now that you will regret sticking with it!

Just keep on keepin on! I have kinda stalled out too and also started exercising this week. I was glad to hear that could cause water weight.

It will be worth it!

Even though you stalled this week, isn't it AWESOME that you body is getting healthier even if it's not getting smaller right? Exercise and healthful eating are having benefits even if it's not showing in your waistline THIS week.

I need help as well. From sept to december I lost 18 lbs. I got back on my diet and starting working out 3 times a week 3 weeks ago. I have lost one lb. I don't understand. I eat 1200 cal everyday and work out for an hour and a half and I am stuck at 226. I am so upset. My hubby who doesn't even work out has lost like 6 bls in 2 weeks. AHHH.
