I'm a big fan of Jillian, but diet pills make me nervous, so I'm having conflicting thoughts...anyone tried it or know anything about it?

I was curious as well as she is always preaching against diet pills, so I read quite a few online reviews (google and you'll find lots of them from a variety of sources) and pretty much all I found were bad ones! Some went into great detail listing her ingredients and noting that many have absolutely nothing to do with weight loss (other health benefits maybe?) and the others she isn't using high enough quantity to be effective.

So...I am passing!

This topic has come up a lot on 3FC and on other websites. It's pretty upsetting. There is nothing new in her pill that hasn't already been tried - and proven useless for real weight loss- before. If there really was a magic pill, it would be all over CNN, every newspaper headline, and pushed by our doctors and hospitals. Not pushed by slick marketers. I'm not calling Jillian a slick marketer, because I'm giving her the benefit of the doubt and wonder if she ended up in a contract that she has no control over. Probably not, but you never know.

Her pills are loaded with stimulants, including at least one that can cause stroke or death.

I love jillian but I just don't really buy into the whole diet pill thing...I stopped trying to use those a few years ago when I came to my senses and started taking multivitamins instead and depending on supplements to help with metabolism and hunger pangs...

That last part certainly is true. I wish Jillian would just stick to what she knows. That's how she can truly help people. Le sigh.

I take a B-Complex vitamin and/or B12--Whichever is on sale at Vitamin Shoppe Both are Metabolism support. Not sure which supplement PP was referring to!

Just wanted to say that I agree with most of the others: "diet" pills just really aren't all they're ever cracked up to be. Wouldn't be awesome if they were? I'm always scared to try them...some of the side effects are pretty scary...

I wonder if anyone on the site has tried hers though? I know she has a huge fan base, so I wonder how many people have tried it.

I lost some respect for her after she came out with the pills. Given that she preaches nothing but hardwork works.
