Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: My fiance and his eating habits/laziness

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I am on weight watchers (for the second time) and I am learning how to wat properly, where I never did that before.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I am going on a 3-4 week road trip in September/October to the South-Western USA. I haven't worn a bathing suit in 10 years, and I would love to wear one in LA during that time.

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Discipline. I need to say no to chinese take out and ice cream. I love them dearly... but it has to stop. Oh, and diet pop. I really don't have any specific hurdles to overcome other than me, myself, and I. I have no excuses!
Following any specific plan: Portion control, eating healthier, more natural food and getting off my ***.
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I am doing it for me, not to make someone else happy. I have also gotten over weight loss to "look better", because my health is more important. Plus, I think I look fabulous no matter what size
Anything else you would like to share with us: This forum has made me feel so inspired. I love it. I am my own worst enemy many times. I have an incredibly supportive husband -- now I have to believe in myself, too!

Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: My schedule. It is so hard to eat right when I have 12 hour days at the hospital, well not really eat right, but to not eat too many calories. And it's hard to schedule workouts around classes and clinicals.
Following any specific plan: Doing C25K and counting calories
What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: It's more about health this time (even though I do want to lose weight), I want to be in the best shape I can be. We're planning on starting a family next year and I want my body to be healthy for the baby and healthy for me afterwards!
Anything else you would like to share with us: I am very determined this time, and I hope this site helps me stick it out until I reach my goals!

What is different this time in your weight loss efforts than in the past: I'm truly committed to becoming healthy - my father had a heart attack this past year at only 53 and is dealing with the after effects of that, and I do not want to become a victim of genetics + unhealthy lifestyle.
Anything else you would like to share with us: I'm really excited to start and would love to talk to some weight loss buddies - especially those in the Buffalo/Western NY area! But really anyone who is similar to me in weight loss goals would be a welcome weight loss buddy!

Well, I'm back. Again.... I have been doing terribly lately. I don't know why. I want to stop, but the food just tastes so good! If you have any tips or hints on how to stop overeating, please share them with me. I have been out of the game so long that all my goal dates have changed and I need to make new ones. Biggest hurdle to overcome in weightloss: Conquering my food issues, and getting myself motivated to exercise. Sometimes I'd rather have teeth pulled than get on the treadmill. Seriously don't know what my problem is.
Following any specific plan: Counting carbs, transitioning to a more "paleo" diet, staying away from heavily processed foods, sugars, etc. Going to the gym 4-5 days a week. 30 min cardio, various weight-lifting reps, targeting different areas each day. Just... doing way more than I have been!

I feel like it wasn't my "time" before. Maybe I wasn't mature enough, but this time I'm so determined, especially with the support of groups like this one.

I've had a lot of struggles with weight, and I'm definitely here to say that it is NOT worth it to lose weight the "wrong way" - eating right and exercising REGULARLY are really the only ways.
